      Lucid Dreaming in Star Gate Universe

      In the episode that aired last week (ep 14 "Human") lucid dreaming plays a large part in the story. Dr. Rush uses it to communicate with his subconscious in order to solve a very difficult problem. Now, this wasn't a normal go to sleep and dream kind of thing. They figured out how to use the chair with a relative amount of safety. Rush is in the chair throughout the episode. Perhaps a Machine Induced Lucid Dream?

      yeah i saw that episode. They actually said "its like he's having a semi-lucid dream"

      Now if he was only semi-lucid he would still get lost in the dream and not remember what he's supposed to be doing, or how to get out of it. They should have just said lucid dream but then again i guess they and most other people wouldn't really understand anyway.
