Thread: Paranormal Activity

Have you heard of this movie called paranormal activity? (I will not see it because I do not like scary movies) It is apparently the scariest movie ever made. so scary in fact that you have to sign a petition to get it shown in your area.

I doubt it's the scariest movie ever made, but I'm sure it's great. I'm going as soon as I can

Hmmm, I never heard about it. I tend not to watch horror movies cause the story lines are generally crap.

But if it is THAT scary I might see it for the actual fun you are supposed to get from a horror (which is rare thing to scare me enough for it to be that fun)

It's called marketing.

Doesn't look particularly more scary than any other horror movie, atleast not judging from the trailer.

Isn't it supposed to be based off actual videos which they show during the movie?

You've got to hand it to 'em if they can convince people it's the "SCARIEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!"

I'll be blunt. I'm a WIMP when it comes to horror movies. But this...I was only kinda scarred at one scene.

Other than that...the movie was minutes of build up to one second of "BOO" every now and again. I enjoyed the story, but really, that was not scary.

I thought it was a fairly average movie, good for something to watch if your bored but definitely not worth paying for at the movies. It was very slow going and the ending was the only scary bit.
