Thread: What game are you currently playing?

I want to play that so badly!

I *just* finished the first Fallout... again. I'm going to install Fallout 2 tomorrow probably, which I've also played before but never finished. Then I have Tactics and Fallout 3 to get into. I hear 3 isn't anything like 1 and 2, but I really love 1 and 2 because of the style of play. We'll see how it goes.

I am currently playing The Game.

Well, I WAS playing Final Fantasy VI a while ago, but I got bored. I probably won't finish it. I plan to play Xenogears later though, mostly because of the soundtrack (Yasunori Mitsuda ftw) and the... interesting plot.

I played the sucker and bought Fallout 3 for the XBox Elite. We've had to eat Ramen all week because of the purchase lmbo!
I can do without the language!!!!!!!!
But it's definately an awesome game. I bought it primarily for my 17 year old, but I like it more than him
I played it for 10 hours straight and restarted 3 times

It has an Oblivion/Bioshock/Half Life feel to it.

I've also been playing Spore a little bit and Animal Crossing for the DS a lot.
I started over and had to carry all my belonging between games (we have 3 copies of Animal Crossing lol and I was clearing out one of my 2 games so my son Myles could have a copy.
I had so many items dropped on the ground, you could almost not see the ground anywhere I had three characters with three full wardrobes and 3 saved mailboxes full of items.
After all that work, I've been selling everything *roll eyes*

I love it. But I'm biased and love all things Kingdom Hearts.

The gameplay is awesome especially considering it's DS. I think the story could have been done a little better, it gets sort of repetitive...but on the other hand, I have no idea how far through the game I am or what to expect. But I feel like I've already experienced most of it via KH2. But now you see it from a different perspective, which is cool...but like I said...I want the story to move forward.

Cooking Mama for Wii, Boom Blocks for Wii, Chain of Memories for PS2, and of course Monster Hunter United for PSP.

I don't have much time for RPGs anymore, so I'm always playing stuff that doesn't require any commitment, lol.

world of warcraft and COD4 soon to be MW2. I don't like WAW that much

Well I bought the The Ballad of Gay Tony Thursday and that is just about all I did this past weekend. That game is simply amazing. It has nothing on The Lost and the Damned imo.

Finished Resident Evil 4 and now I'm playing Final Fantasy X.

I'm modding Oblivion as usual. Other than that I'm playing Baldur's Gate, Psychonauts (awesome) and Morrowind.

Borderlands.

I'm playing Just Cause at the moment. Looking forwards to Just Cause 2.

Blew through much of the original Castlevania series during the Halloween weekend...specifically, 1-3 on NES, 4 on SNES, and Bloodlines on Genesis. They're all as hard as dick, but I'd rather play five really fucking hard games with a nostalgia factor than play the DS ones that are ruined by the lifeless, unimaginative anime look they're given. If IGA was looking to ruin Castlevania, he sure nailed it with these latest few games.

I was playing Fallout a lot, but then stopped coming out of my corner of the house for awhile. Too much chaos.
So the only game I've really been playing is Civ Revolution for the DS. The stupid game always ends too soon though, so I've finally burned out on it.
I've been keeping the PC at the RV, so I've not been playing Spore either.

I've been playing Fallout 3 on and off.
Too much stuff at school at the moment, I haven't really had enough time for too much computer gaming.

I say at midnight tonight a lot of people will be playing Modern Warfare 2 and will be playing for a long time.

I just got MW2 yesterday. We have two Xbox 360's in my house (don't ask me why) and a PS3 that we get very limited access to, so we bought it for the 360. I have to say it's amazing. They finally implemented Create-A-Class in offline mode. I'm already level 21 :p. My brothers are easy targets.
I don't have live, though, so I can't attest for that.

With school, I don't see myself playing a lot of games though. Occasionally, on Friday/ Saturday nights, I'll load up TF2 and play that for 3 or 4 (sometimes 7) hours while everybody else is asleep. It requires little commitment, but is so satisfying at the same time.
I got a little burned out on Fallout 3, but it was an amazing game until I got to level 20 and had every custom weapon in the game and could kill everything. It had a lot of original humor, and some good RPG style gaming. Unfortunately, the FPS part was slightly lacking unless I wanted to do an extreme long distance snipe or ran out of AP.

Left 4 Dead 2 looks great. The demo was amazing. Can't wait for that.

If you're into RPG's, I swear the best ones are Square Enix games for PS2. Star Ocean : Til the End of Time and FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus were both amazing games, though FFVII was more of a TPS.
