My favorite anime is DEFINITELY Black Lagoon. It's just plain badass..guns, smokes, beer, and a chick with a bad-ass attitude. There's a third season coming out, when it's released I'll probably jizz myself.

Until there is an anime that can top Black Lagoon. This will remain the best anime of all time.

I might need to check out code geass. I really don't like mecha, but full metal panic completely changed my mind about the genre.

Death note was pure genious, DBZ was legendary in it's epicness, Naruto is really cool, quickly approaching epic status. The manga is even better...

Right now I'm watching cowboy bebop while I wait for new naruto episodes/mangas. I'm not a HUGE anime fan, but I do enjoy it. I'm kind of a noob though which is why I usually watch the more popular ones. But I always look for the english subs intead of dubs

Yeah I watched part of it. I guess the movie was a huge hit in Japan? I didn't like it much though because I started watching it almost immediately after finishing the anime, and I was too confused by how different the story and the characters were.

I like the chess game analogy. The writers must have been brilliant.

Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho (as far as the "power-up and fight" style goes, I think this is the best)

Manga: Gunnm (not sure if they're available in english - I read them in French)

Anime: Rurouni Kenshin because of its greatness

Manga: Rurouni Kenshin BECAUSE OF ITS GREATNESS.
Rurouni is nice it has a drama,romance and action all put together greatly. Its legendary.

Do you guys enjoy the series or better yet ever hear of it?
