Maybe you could mcalf in place of CeDer then so he doesnt get such a large by? Of course i am in no position to give advice, it was just an idea.

Agreed. M-calf would only have to fight 2 people to win, where as A Roxxor or Bayside would have to go against 4.

When i go to taekwondo tournaments, this is normally how the bracket is when there is an off person.

I havent read the posts, but im assuming its single elimination. Once you're out, you're out correct?

i think the losers for each round should have an epic battle.

like the 7 losers for this bit could all have a big 7 player FFA match. to declare the best loser.

and maybe the losers for this next part too.

I think once we get all the losers found, we'll do a mass loser free for all

wait, losers as in everyone but the actual winner of the thing?

because they wouldnt all fit in one FFA, because it only goes up to 8

I'm sorry guys, but if you really want to play a RTS from the late 90s, play Total Annihilation rather than Starcraft. It's about 1000 times better. Starcraft is OK, but it mainly became popular because of the Blizzard label.

If BE's up for it, I want to get in our tourny round today. Is there a special map we should use?

I'VE GOT AN IDEA

We take all of the losers and put them in one 7-person ffa. Winner of that game becomes the wild card. The wild card plays metcalfracing. Then it's equal YAY!

Sounds good to me. Has anyone else found that the comp can't handle this Moon Tears map? At the point where I had 3 going hatcheries, I walked in on a terran comp w/ 4 drones, 1 marine, 1 supply depot--wtf? I thought, oh, this must be a new expansion, but I wiped it out and "player eliminated."

If anyone besides BE wants to get in a practice game on this map, I'm up for it.

Total Annihilation is fun, but it had some major issues. Mostly having to do with troop movement and transportation. The spiritual successor, supcom improves upon these issues, adds to the gameplay, diversifies the units both within the armies and between races, and has jacked-up graphics. Total Annihilation is a classic, but the modern upgrade surpasses it. SC, however, has already been perfected through patches.

Also, Starcraft didn't become popular because of the blizzard label, it helped make the Blizzard label.
