      Mulholland Drive!!!

I recommend it to all who enjoy deep psychological thrillers that leave you with an extremely intense W T F ? ? feeling.

I still can't believe how awesome that movie was, and it actually made me lucid last night!

      Inglourious Basterds!
It was epic, hilarious and gorey.
Probably one of the best films I have ever seen.

      White Christmas

They sure don't make movies like that any more. Delightful and uplifting!

The original cut of Clerks. It was interesting. For the most part it was similar (it was the version they shot first and sent to Miramax, after the people there liked it the filming of the theatrical version began), except Brian O'Halloran dies at the end

I saw "The invention of lying" yesterday... Its a quite bizarre movie set in a hypothetical world where the human race never developed an ability to lie, except for one man. Whats so good about it is that it mocks both hardcore atheism and theism in a hillarious way.

Overall, a fairly good movie. The visuals were stunning. I found the plot line to be a bit predictable, though, and didn't like that the bad guys didn't really get the punishment they deserved. I think a bit more could've been done with the final battle scene, too...I'm thinking rocks dropped into the propeller blades could've been nice.

      Overall, though, good movie.

As a side note, it seems Hollywood is trying to tell us something; namely, that humans suck. Seriously, mankind manages to fuck up royally nowadays. Avatar, we suck. 2012, we suck. Most other movies, we suck. Anyone else notice this?

I just watched The Fifth Element. The thing was strange as hell, and didn't really make sense on any level. But damn, it was a fun movie. Seriously, one of the best I've seen in a while. Enjoyed it tremendously.

      You got that right.

I just saw Garden State, it was dissapointing and confirmed my dislike for Zach Braff. I thought that the dialouge tried way too hard to be perfect, and the whole thing just felt overly dramatic and cheesy. There were some funny moments though, and Peter Sarsgaard was great as always.

I thought the Hangover was shit compared to what I thought it'd be.

I can't remember for the life of me which movie I saw last, despite it not being so long ago. I think it was Family Guy Presents Something Something Something Dark Side. It was funny, but not as funny as it could've been. Movies are a bit of a downer lately.

      I'll probably watch Gamer tonight.

It seems interesting, judging by 3 lines on imdb. I'll go download buy it.

The last movie I saw was "Inglorious Basterds", rented the DVD the other night.

Saw it in the theater when it came out and liked it, still thought it was okay this time but seemed a little sloppy to me for some reason...I read that Tarantino was rushed in the editing room to get the first print out for the festival premieres and then to theaters.

I watched the entire LotR extended trilogy yesterday...

      Ya, I'm on vacation.

Definitely the first (and probably last) time I've seen it clear through, but I wanted to keep going the whole way through. I did pause and even accomplish a couple other things along the way, but I never got sick of it and wanted to see the story through.

I just watched it last month and was underwhelmed. It's certainly something different, as mainstream movies go, but don't expect a lot of subtlety.

A little predictable. But not neccessarily bad for it.
