Not all comics were made with profit in mind; but that is really not what I mean.

The movie was terrible in my opinion. All about getting by with maximum exposure to the widest audience possible. I am just tired of that "movie making policy". Movies just seem to be going downhill lately with creativity taking a back seat; as is the case with most of the entertainment industry, but perhaps I am only seeing it more than I used to. It's okay though, I love music and reading/writing so I can save money on movies. It was my goal to be completely free of distraction anyhow, so this is the last step.

Last movie i saw was American gangster. Great movie

I watched Lola rennt (or Run Lola, run in English) in my German class. I liked it a lot, the germans make good movies :content:.

Terminator 2

Donnie Darko. I loved that film, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to watch it.

The condemned....... bootleg DVD a friend brought to a very boring day at work. Steve Austin isn't the greatest actor. Not a bad movie for mindless entertainment. Also saw Memento the other day. That was a trippy movie.

Fail. why don't you look into non mainstream movies.

You're adding to the capitalist interest by only taking what is directly spoonfed to you. If you want some brilliant films regardlesss of standing, and simply brilliant as artforms, ask me.

If not, then don't slate all movies just cus of spiderman 3 and other mainstream films.

Trust me, I know all about obscurity, and have seen many great films. My disgust is the result of a snowballing effect. I am just done with TV altogether. S3 was a small example that's all; the straw that broke the camel's back. Not even great movies are worth watching to me now. I have better things to do.

To me, that's about as tragic and hollow as someone saying "art means nothing to me."

On the contrary, all I do is write books and music, and read. Art and creativity is my life. I do not regret ever watching a great film, I will just not bother sifting through it all anymore. About three years ago I stopped watching television because I would get too irritated when commercials where shoved in my face again and again; or because the news is nothing but lies. This is similar; I am just too passionate for my own good. I admit it can be a fault at times, but not watching TV cannot be a bad thing.

I think if you were truly passionate you would do everything you could to find good films; rather than give up

I think that's a pretty illogical argument; but to each his own. Again, I want this; so I win rather than lose. It is a good thing. I just needed the nudge.

Just got back from the Hitman movie. It was pretty damn good, although they didn't really get the best guy to play 47, he just didn't seem to fill out the suit as well as he should have. Also, he didn't have his British accent like at all, which kind of was lame, the voice was entirely off, I don't think they even tried to mimic it. Good movie overall still.

I was babysitting -_- but its a great movie none the less ^__^

I finished watching The Godfather for the first time. I enjoyed it, but yiesh! Talk about draining. I didn't have the strength for the second one. (Crazy A&E, thinking we could take both in one sitting!)

And last night I saw "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium." It was very enjoyable :) Good strong story-line, easy-going, and good acting more or less. An all around nice movie.

And, if anyone that's up right now, hasn't had the pleasure of seeing Spaceballs, it's just coming on Spike. It's the edited version (which kinda sucks, of course) but it's still hilarious. :cooler:

I just saw No Country for Old Men today. It was a great movie, but the ending left me a little disappointed.

Men in Black, and before them, I watched Enchanted (which I thought was very cute).

Ben: I wanted to watch Elf, but he hid the remote. And Enchanted was good; go see it if you like fairy tales/kid's movies/classic Disney. I do, so I went ^_^
