My sister and I were supposed to see Stardust tonight, but when we went to the theater (45 minutes away), it had printed on the ticket that it didn't show until 9:10pm, when the computer said it was at 7:30. We decided to grab some dinner and come back at around 9, but when we returned, it seemed that they were waiting for us. Stardust had, in fact, started at 7:30pm. *glare*

So, we saw "The Invaders" instead. If you don't care about an over-done remake, you may like this. It was pretty much just like "The Puppet Masters" which only came out around 7 years ago or so, I don't remember..... So blah blah blah, just rent it if you're bored. Good acting, though!

I saw that the other night, that was pretty good. Very strange movie with a dream-like feel--despite also being feel-good and a romantic comedy, both of which I usually hate.

Just quit watching "Casino Royale" about 1/2 hour into it--that movie totally sucked! I thought it got good reviews. Wasn't it supposed to be more like the book or something? Not.

Death Sentence, it was an amazing film. Really gripping and emotional. Be warned it is incrediblly sad. A deffinate tear jerker for the emotional.

"Outlaw" - Sean Bean, vidgilante justice. Good movie about a group of people who decide to take the law into their own hands after being "abandoned by the powers that be". Good film, kinda sad ending though.

The last movie I saw was Shrek 2, as I was watching it in the car on the way home. The same goes for The Incredibles right before that. The last movie I saw in the theater was Live Free or Die Hard. I'd seen it once but it was just as kickin'-awesome as the last time I saw it.

The newest movie I saw was "Lord of War." Very interesting movie! I like how it presented both sides of the coin throughout the movie and shows what inevitably happens to those who deal in death and must choose every day which side they're going to be on. Kind of long, but I like Nicholas Cage more or less.

Fear in Loathing in Las Vegas. I always feel like there's supposed to be a deep and meaningful message behind the movie but I never understood it myself.

      The Bourne Ultimatum. Awesome stuff.

I'm going to be seeing The Hunting Party either on the 18th or 19th at 1:30am. My friend works at the theater and they have to screen movies before they come out to make sure they run through the machine right and everything. He said I could come watch any movie that's coming out with him.

      Spirited Away

Awesome movie. Visually stunning, with a very dream-like quality. I thought the English dubbing was excellent (especially for the character "Lynn") which is more than I can say for sooooooo many dubbed films.
