Saw 3

An excellent movie. There are some really nice death scenes in it with lots of gore.

The thin red line

Too bad it was over-shadowed by Saving Private Ryan, which was also released in 1998.

TRL is a challenging war movie, but if you allow yourself to immerse into it, you might end up having one of the best cinematic experiences!

Yes, sir. Children of Men was definitely a good movie. Somehow it seemed to get lost at the box office, though. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Besides, Clive Owen is just awesome.

Unicorn: You're right, it was a shame that Thin Red Line didn't get more respect; it definitely deserved it. Though TRL was a very different 'kind' of movie, I think that it did a great job of representing those particular aspects of that theater of WWII. I had even more respect for the movie after having spoke to a friend of mine about it, who had two brothers KIA in Japan.

I agree completely. That movie is like complex music; the more you watch it, the better it gets. It is not for those with a short attention span.

I watched Saw III on my PC last night.
Pretty good actually, quite possibly the best of the 3.

I just got back from seeing Hot Fuzz. Hilarious movie, but was ridiculously gory at times.

I saw h6 diary of a serial killer last night. It was great, altough the speech was Spanish (but fortunately it had English subtext).

I saw Grindhouse! I went with some friends, each one of us took 2 pints before the screening, and i even managed to bring a can inside The MOST fun i had in a movie theatre for a looong time!

Terrific kick-ass entertainment... too bad it tanked in the box office.

How come that everybody has totally different opinions on "Deja Vu"? Is it controversial?
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

Apocalypto. It was awesome. The feel of the movie is excellent. The music, acting and setting was great. Big props to Mel Gibson on this one. I also checked out Deja Vu. It was cool. I liked a lot of the time viewing/ travel elements. And how **SPOILER**everything is connected from the beginning.
