The Great Gatsby. Pretty good. It seemed like it had a lot of subliminal shit in it though.
Movie 42. How in the hell did they get all these people to do such a awfully great horrible movie? The world may never know.

Also, The Wolverine. Great action flick, but it could have been a great movie if they used more material from the comic it was based on. I would have much rather see him deal with his emotional rage through mastering the katana and meditation. Also, silver samurai....what the fuck did they do to you?
Watching "SAVING HOPE" at the moment.
Not a movie, but spot on for an oobe.
Then off to bed, and watching the latest Star Trek.
Night all.
Just saw "The Illusionist." On a scale of 1 to 10 it was fan-fucking-tastic.
Despicable Me Duology: Almost teared up each movie. I guess the whole parenting thing kinda got to me....and I can see how it relates to my own life. The first was better than the second though. I'd give them both a 4 out of 5.
Warm Bodies: Very refreshing zombie movie. It's a must watch for anyone who thinks all zombie movies are the same. And a sneaky way for ladies to get guys to watch Romcoms. 4/5
Boondock Saints: I finally watched it after hearing "you never watched it!?", and "you'd probably like it" for the billion time. It was a good movie. I wished I could have watched it when it came out, because the action scenes are showing their age. I just don't see how people can miss that much and be so close. Aside from that, it was good...I can't say much else other than I wish I would have watched it back in the day. It probably would have left a greater impression on me.
Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.
I LOVE this movie, I've seen it several times. It is by far the most dramatic of the Star Wars films, and quite sad, especially at the end when Obi Wan beats Anakin...such a sad scene, it really is.
I never have seen the Boondock Saints either, but I'd like to.
Last movie that I saw was The Heat. It's the movie about a FBI agent and a police officer who got to work together and unrevealed some members and secrets about the local mafia. It was really funny. I watched it in theater with my girlfriend and we were laughing our a**es out. It was pretty funny. I would say that it's a good way of entertaining yourself if you have nothing else to do.
GI JOE: The Rise of Cobra
A movie based on a great franchise with really good actors...that turned into terrible CGI, crappy one-liners, raw jokes, and some of the worst acting I've ever seen. Why did the good actors do bad?
And that's why I ignore what the critics say. I'll usually ignore everyone or ask certain friends what they think about them. I'm not sure what they could have done to make the movie better, but that's probably because I didn't read the book.
Don't let that stop you from watching GI Joe II (forgot the actual title). They made a lot of money off of it, but they actually listened to what people said and made a better movie.
I watched yesterday Source Code and it went straight to my favorite movie collection. It is one of the best movies I've ever seen. I recommend the movie when you like movies like inception etc.
I saw The Hunger Games about two weeks ago. I heard a lot of people didn't like it, but I personally loved it. Maybe that's because I've never read the book. But hey, Jennifer Lawrence
I've read (well listened to) all three books more times than I can count, AND I've seen the film. They did leave out *some* things, but MOSTLY little stuff. The biggest thing they probably left out was the Katniss/Rue relationship. The movie just doesn't show how close those two really came in the games. I won't say any more than that for those who've yet to see it, but that's the biggest place the film left more to be desired.
I watched Inception for the first time last night.
From all the hype I have heard, the film should have been much better.
It did cover a few good points though, so not a total waste of time.
7 out of 10
Wow, you didn't like it as much as you thought you would, huh? I saw the film having never heard any reviews or anything. I caught it on one of the movie channels, thought "that sounds good" and loved it. I would've given it around an 8 or 8.5 out of ten, but that's just me :p
I just watched Transformers (the first movie) again. I really enjoy this movie; for an action film it has a very interesting plot, plus a race of alien machines that can shape-shift...that's just awesome. Makes me wonder who would win in a fight: Optimus Prime or the machines from the Terminator series :o

so far i liked
I LOVED this movie, and so far Duncan Jones is two-of-two. "Moon" is one of my favorite movies I have seen, and I think it's an homage to his father's Space Oddity song. If you haven't seen "Moon" do yourself a favor.
I didn't enjoy the movie at all, and I didn't read the books. I read Battle Royale, and the movie (and I assume the books) was so similar it just bored me. I also am not a fan of Jennifer Lawrence, so I guess that hurt my experience too.
The trick with Inception is it isn't a dreaming moving; it's a heist film. Dreaming is an ancillary device to make the actually heists new and exciting. I think it works pretty well.
I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013) - IMDb

Pusher - Superhero movie, really generic, 5/10
Pandorum - Sci-Fi horror movie, reminded me of dead space, was better than expected, 6/10
Pirates of the caribbean 4 - Nothing new, a funny johnny depp the rest wasn't that great.. nice pictures tho 6/10
reading this page reminded me of watching source code :) thanks
I forgot to mention I saw "The World's End" on release night. That movie was actually pretty funny. And for a comedy movie it had a really good storyline. It was by no means slapstick. It really lived up to the reviews. I think it got a 82-86 on Metacritic, which means it was really good. Because if any of you know Metacritic well, you'll know they critique harshly.
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. I really like the Terminator movies, but this one just isn't as great as the first two.
The old HITMAN movie last night.
Not too many films on my PC at the moment, but this one was good.
Not sure if it was a 6/10 or a 7/10
The new RIDDICK film is out soon, so I will be off to cinema to watch that one tonight ( If it is showing )
Inception  amazing movie!!!!!!!!!!
