Star Trek: into darkness
Meh. It was ok, nothing special. I guess Trekkies like it more but didn't they reboot to gain audience, not just have existing fans re-creaming their pants? Loved the beginning with Nibiru. Think its kinda lame though how they never need to wear any sort of oxygen masks on these planets they visit, nor do they seem to ever scan for oxygen levels. Thought Kahn was an uninteresting villain. Genetically superior... blah blah blah. Was hoping for the Klingons to throw down some more, but whatever.

the bad lieutenant: port of call- new orleans [2009]
w/nicholas cage and val kilmer etc.
i now love this movie.
before that i watched-
near dark [1987]
i liked it mainly because it was about vampires i think.

Jack the Giant Slayer - Pretty damned solid fantasy. I mean sure it's cliche but they picked a handful of good actors (Bill Nighy plays the giant king like a pro). It's pretty light, but epic enough to enjoy. I kind of wish they showed the people getting gobbled up but I guess they wanted kids to be able to watch it. The story is simple and straight forward but it's not meant to be too complicated, it's just an epic showdown between humans and giants.
Hangover Part III: They attempted to change the story up as much as possible, I think cause people complained that the second one was basically the same movie in a different city. The premise of this one revolves around the Wolf Pack reuniting to escort Alan to a treatment facility because he's crazy, and along the way they get pulled into a hunt for Chow (with Doug being held captive as collateral). It had me chuckling here and there, but in no way close to the original. Still, it's at least interesting to watch again. The story pulls you in well enough and it certainly has its moments.

Mr. Nobody- WOW. This was a really good move. It's one of those flicks where most people say "I have to watch that again", but I got it the first time. Anyway 4/5. It was just a tad bit long, but I can't complain too much about it, since it was the extended version.

I went and saw Now You See Me and I liked it.
I usually see movies I'm interested in pretty quickly. I'm seeing The Purge this weekend and I'm really excited about it. I'm also looking forward to seeing This Is The End.
-
Iron Man 3 - My two boys are big Avengers fans so they were enthralled. I found it pretty good too. There are some great one-liners in the whole series.
-
The Campaign- I love Will Ferrell, I really do. But the next time he decides to play Ricky Bobby again in another movie, it better be Talladega Nights II. 3/5....4/5 if I hadn't seen most of his movies.

Two Moon Junction (1988) - IMDb
The most passionate movie i ever seen! 5/5

stalingrad [1993]

Killing them softly.
Brad pit delivers quite a speech about the condition, and function of the USA.
Not too sure what the film was realy about.
Could someone enlighten me ?

Warm Bodies - Good, funny and also serious, great actors and music, much better than I thought it would be.
Casablanca - I finally got around to watching this since I'd heard it mentioned so many times. Very good movie, incredible acting and once again good music.
I really needed the story line atm, so it was very helpful for me, so I may be biased.
The only bad was that I started chuckling at that last seen where he is tell Ilsa "Deep inside we both know you belong with Victor" etc. because House used that scene in one episode, slightly modified, where he has to tell a 17 year old he can't date her. It was just so over-dramatic so I couldn't help but laugh in Casablanca too. I wish I'd seen Casablanca first, coz that scene was really sad and romantic.
Anyway- Warm Bodies 7/10
Casblanca 9.5/10

Clueless. It was probably the 100th time watching it, so it was amazing as always.

I just finished watching Warm Bodies, I thought it was pretty amazing.
-
Tiger Eyes (2012) - IMDb Better than Twilight, and less dramatic, but good.
-
Power Puff Girls the Movie
Instead of a movie, it just seemed like one really long episode. I really miss watching PPG. so I guess seeing in them in action was a good thing.
-
Watched an anime movie called Colorful. It was long and the first half was depressing. Or maybe I was bored. I'm not sure. The concept was neat though.

I saw The Purge the day it came out. The plot is one of the most interesting I've ever heard and it was well made. 9.5/10, I definitely recommend that everyone see it. Scary, intense (gave me a few jump scares), just long enough and thought provoking. It brings to light the dark side of human nature and makes one wonder what people would really do if they knew they wouldn't get into trouble. My only major complaint is that the characters weren't well developed enough and didn't seem very interesting. That, and I wanted to see more of what was going on on the outside instead of in that one house. I hope that there will be a The Purge II. There was just so much to explore with the plot and the one movie couldn't deal with it all. I was afraid the whole time that someone might shoot up the theatre and was preparing myself to duck behind seats... lol. But that's hardly the movie's fault.

Will Smith & son star in a film about life on earth in the future.
Looks like Will mad the movie to promote his sons career.
Not a bad film. I was expecting something a little different from the trailers, but still good.
8.5/10

The Incredibles, was good seen it to much though
-
Side Effects. Pretty good. It gave a very intricate look into the world of psychiatry, psychopharmacy, and malingering. It had very good plot twists and was greatly paced.
-
Branded.
First of all this movie was only shown in a few hundred theaters when it came out. It recieved horrible reviews from everyone. This movie is about big business making money through advertisments to a sci-fi level. I really don't think there's a coincidence, that this movie didn't make it to the masses for that one reason. I actually found the movie very good. Anyone who's a minimalist, hates huge business, over consumerism, or simply gets tired of "whats popular" should see this. 4/5

The Bridges of Madison County (1995) - IMDb You can just feel the energy in this movie 5/5
