      Midnight In Paris

I'm not too familiar with Woody Allen's work, but this was a pleasant film. I'm not really a fan of romantic comedies, but I wouldn't even classify this as one. It's very unique, funny and carries out a great message.
I recommend it as something different.

Is this his new one? I was told that it was a lot more 'back to his roots' and much better than other recent movies he has made. I'll check it out.

The last movie I saw was Away We Go. Away We Go is an amazing movie. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves sophisticated romantic comedies, and anyone who loves John Krasinski.

If you don't know what Away We Go is, it's a movie from 2009 about a couple that is about to have a baby. The soon-to-be grandparents move away right before the baby is born- so the couple decided to find a new place to live. The movie is about their travels.

Your Highness: worth a few laughs, but pretty lame overall. It was better once Natalie Portman came into the picture, both because she's nice to look at and she had better chemistry with McBride and Franco than they had with each other. Her role was kind of similar to Ellen Page in Super (the last last movie I saw), insofar as being cute, violently insane, and funnier than the male lead(s) (though Rainn Wilson held up his end in Super a lot better than Franco and McBride in YH).

captain america. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. the movie was shot well...the monochromish colours through out were great. bucky was there (wonders if ultimate bucky was a ladies man, because 616 bucky was a geek)....dum dum was there...red skull was there, cosmic cube was there...cap was there. i think they captured his fighting style pretty good. the origin part was pretty much the meat of the movie, but i think the action scenes could have been set up differently.....or at least less montage action. not sure sure how i dug that part. the avengers preview obviously got me really hyped up. 3d effects weren't bad...i even had to blink a couple of times. overall, the movie seems like another set up for the avengers. i'd say 3 out of 5...maybe 3.5.

Jason Statham does his role in the begining, then it all gets boring after the first 10 minutes

and a gay cop in east London, wtf is this?

he wouldn`t be allowed to join the force in the first place in the uk

the move got 6.6/10 on imdb and that`s realistic for it

Couldn't stop myself from rewinding to see 2 or 3 moments a second time. Oddly enough, one was where Hatter snapped a Suit's neck.
Jan Svanmajers Alice? Where the she keeps saying ".....said the white rabbit"?

I saw Herzog's Cave of Forgotten Dreams the other day, it was off the wall, giggle. I also just bought a box set of silent horror movies recently, so far Ive watched The Phantom of the Opera, Nosferatu, Jeckel and Hyde, and Metropolis which are all absolutely amazing.

Star Trek (2009) - 9.5/10 - good action, lots of funny parts...

Leaves of Grass - 9/10 - black comedy, slow to start but the acting is awesome and the plot is pretty wacked-out.

Leaves of grass was pretty good. Your right, it was slow to start, but got better. I actually bought it after seeing it. I bought it at one of those portable blockbuster machines along with three other movies ( Easy A, The Hurt locker, and The Town) All good movies, except Easy A. That movie was just ok.

REALLY REALLY BORING! I was falling asleep at many parts of the movie, though I managed to stay up. Eventually, I just said "Screw this" and walked out the theatre.

Captain America: quite solid as the Marvel movies go (still haven't seen Thor), probably better than all but the first Iron Man. Cap isn't a hero who holds much inherent interest for me, but I liked the way they handled his backstory. Not to go into spoilers, but in a lot of ways this movie had more the feel of the Hellboy comics than either of the Hellboy movies

I haven't seen CA yet, but just from the trailers I'm amazed at how well they were able to capture the feeling of Jack Kirby's artwork!! The poses, the costume, and the fighting moves really take me back to those ol Marvel days of my youth. I felt the same way when I saw a trailer for Green Lantern... the CGI actually allowed them to capture the Neal Adams style, which looks impossibly superhuman.

Watched soul surfer this morning. Such and inspirational movie, and I teared up a few times throughout the movie. Some people didnt like it because there was religious parts throughout the movie, but I didnt think it ruined the movie, and there wasn't too much of it either. Im a Christian person anyways, so I didnt care that it was in the movie. I want to watch the documentary now. Also, I didnt know the main actress( or should I say actor because female actresses want to be called actors now) was so young. Im 4 years older than her. She played the bitchy girl in the remake of Charlie and the chocolate factory lol.

Im going to see Harry Pobler part ll tomorrow, can't wait. And yes, I meant to say pobler. That's what I've always called them. I think that's what homer said in the Simpson movie. But he stole it from me lol.

Submarine. Debut as director from Richard Ayoade, from IT Crowd and Darkplace Hospital. Quirky, cute and fun, I recommend it, specially if you're sick of big budget, empty, action packed movies like Transformers and Captain America.

Cowboys and Aliens. Its actually better than you would expect. Daniel Craig plays a really badass cowboy, Harrison Ford rocks the grumpy face, and Olivia Wilde reps the... eyes. If you just want to have fun at the theaters then I would recommend it
