Training Day was one of my favorite movies when I first saw it, then after seeing it again 5 or 6 times I'd say it's average.
Just watched "Rubber." It's an indie film about a tire rolling around in the desert, exploding people's heads with it's mind.
I saw the trailer for it a while back. It looked... Interesting. How was it? :PQuote:

watched Bruce Almighty yesterday ... it was very nice , and funny ill give 7-8/10 cus i like kind of movies.

great movie 8/10, the amount of imagination contained in this film is phenomenal. just wish i'd gotten the japanese version because some of the voices in english overdubs are kinda annoying
Speaking of English dubbed movies, it's usually a hit or miss when they use it in foreign movies. I've only seen two, but the first movie I saw had some good quality, but the second one was terrible and the mouths didnt match at all. I forget the name of the first one, but it was about this woman who was arrested but went straight to the hospital. She was a defendant in a case and at the end she has a Mohawk. Eventually she ends up putting some guy in prison because he had rapped her while she was young in some mental institute. Anyone know the name of that movie? Its a long title name, its called "the woman who .....Something nest." I just know its starts with the woman who and ends with nest lol.Quote:

Yea I dont even have a computer at the moment. I loaned it to a pawn shop, so I use my phone all the time. Actually, I've always used my phone, even when I had my computer. According to the Wiki page I linked it's part of a trilogy - though now I see that's the book, not the movie. There might be films of the other books too though. I notice the author is Stieg Larsson, who wrote the show on which AMC's The Killing is based (originally a Swedish show I think).
Last movie I watched - Kill Bill vol 1. The only parts I really like though are when Uma is wearing the yellow motorcycle duds... which is the entire fight against the Crazy 88 and Oren Ishii (pretty much the entire end of vol.1), and the very beginning where it shows her bloody battered face laying on the floor and Bill's hand wiping it off as he talks to her. Oh, and I like the animated part too, Oren Ishii's origin story. Awesome stuff!!
Yea im pretty sure that movie is a sequel. If its based on the books then for surely there was probably another movie before it. Kill bill vol. 1 &2 were on today on AMC. Did you watch it today?

It's the TV show of the week right now on itunes. :D The pilot is free, and the first season is $9.99; the others are more but they're still relatively well-priced.
It was a good movie, but it was more of a love story than Sci fi. I thought it would be more of a SciFi movie than what it really was.Quote:
