Dark City: Directors Cut. It's mind-bending and I like dystopia's. 4.5 stars! |

Just watched Dreamcatcher. I didn't think much of the novel, but the movie was pretty damned cool. I took an intermission partway through. The Dudditz storyline reminds me of a YA book I really liked as a kid, Born into Light, which was also a lot like Snow. Of course in this case it's Snow vs. Lovecraftian shit-weazels. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

I watched "Strange Days" earlier. It was a bit long, but really good. |
i watched special, again |
Watched the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last night. I thought it was really boring so I fast forwarded to all the good parts and finished it in like 15 minutes |
Black Swan. Terrifying at times but thrilling and very awesome. Amazing and clever adaptation of the Swan Lake story. Portman is a legit actress. |

Pshh I'm not a fan of action movies or explosions actually. I just got bored of all the long ass scenes of dialogue between those two old guys. I fast forwarded to the scenes with dragon girl because I thought she was actually interesting. Kind of gave up on it after a while though, didn't want to sit through the whole 2 1/2 hours of it. I'll definitely check out the American remake when it comes out though (David Fincher directing), and probably read the book. |

The only 'dialogue between old guys' was all necessary exposition so you knew wtf the movie was going to be about... there must have been about five minutes of it in total. :/ |

Saw two great mindfucks with killer audio engineering and soundtracks this weekend: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Natural Born Killers. |

Just finished watching Wallstreet, great movie. |
I went to the theater on Friday or Saturday and watched Rango with hubby. It was very cute and had me laughing out loud several times |
Is that the sequel? |
No I was talking about the original, the one with Charlie Sheen. I was planning on renting the sequel next, I know it didn't get good reviews or anything, but I'll see it for Michael Douglas in that role again |
Tron: Legacy. Meh. Eye candy, 1.5 Jeff Bridgeses, pretty people in unitards--not much else. I wouldn't say the original had much more going for it, either, and the light-jet scene was pretty cool. Interesting that they had Bridges make his character an amalgam of Obi Wan and The Dude. |

Have you guys seen the latest David Lynch and Werner Herzog collaboration "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done"? I really hope this dream team will continue to work together. Although this movie could have been a bit better in my opinion. But I enjoyed it. |

Just saw "I am number four" at the movies, I didn't realise it was sort of a kids film there were all these childish trailers on before it. The movie was pretty boring really, he had some lame superpowers... basically iphones strapped to his hands. I didn't understand what the chicks power was, and if I had telekinesis and I wanted to kill someone I would just squeeze their heart or snap their neck, simple, done. |
Alright so I watched Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps last night. It was pretty lame I must say. Not enough rivalry between Gekko and the new kid. Plus I found the girlfriend to be really annoying. |
Went to see Limitless. Well, at least now I want to take a NZT in one of my lucids |

The King's Speech |
127 Hours. If you watch it you will find yourself asking "could I do that to survive?" Franco should have won an Oscar |
Last night I dreamed I ate a ten-pound marshmallow, and when I woke up the pillow was gone.

King's Speech. Good movie. Very good acting by Firth, perfect stutter - well deserved Oscar. BUT. I had very high expectations for it, and in my eyes it disappointed in that it didn't quite top Inception for me. Inception still should've won Best Picture. |

Yeah it's hard to go into a movie with huge expectations and still be blown away. I remember when The Social Network came out it was a done deal that it would get best picture and director, King's Speech built up more steam towards the end though. The Oscars are too much about the politics. |
