Scarey Movie 4. Dull, cliche'd, unimaginative.

The only part that was mildly entertaining was the spoof of.....you guessed it, Brokeback Mountain!

      Vanilla Sky, great movie

I still can't believe it took me this long to watch it.

      Over The Hedge

The wifeling and me laughed ourselves sore. Loved it... and nothing terribly objectionable in it at all. I think the kids got more of a kick out of our reactions than the movie itself though.

I wish I would have seen "Over the Hedge" last weekend instead of wasting my time at "The DaVinci Code". Also saw "Silent Hill" within the last week -- another waste of time.

The voice casting is stone brilliant. Nick Nolte's character, an old grizzly bear, is perfect. Bruce Willis doesn't seem to make sense at first, but becomes "right" within a few minutes.

I do recommend it. Take the kiddoes.

      mmmmm, there's something about Matthewwwwwww..........

you know, every girl should be allowed to kiss (at least 5 minutes of hard core makeout) their favorite celebrity at least once. I think I'd choose either:

      Scott Speedman

      or

      Ralph Fiennes

Thanks, Ophelia... though honestly, to preserve my virgin lips *cough* I'd rather just spend five minutes staring at Hugh Jackman:WOAH! Hotness!

And to make this reply more legit, the last newer movie I saw was "The New World." I actually liked it! It was fairly poetic, but I warn you that if you have a short attention span you may not like it.

      Meanwhile, back on the subject...
X-men 3 It was ok, as long as you never read the comic books. If you did read the comic books it would make you want to write some hate mail...
By the way, Anyone know Brett Ratner or Simon Kinberg home address?

      "Memoirs of a Geisha."

I liked it. I don't think it would go on my top 10, but I enjoyed watching it. I'd probably have to watch it a second time before I came to any hard conclusion.

      "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

No I'm serious. I hardly ever go to the movie theatre. When I do, I usually go to see something good. (i.e. star wars, tim burton flims, etc.) The movie I saw before that one was Corpse Bride, which although was a great movie, lacked in comparison to A Nightmare Before Christmas. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was O.K., but the old one was still better.

I hate horror and romance films, I occasionaly see an action film if its good. But if it's a good sci-fi or thriller, I'll be there. But that doesn't happen too often...

And out of context, I don't watch TV, at all, until now of course. Battlestar Galactica is awesome. The liked the old one, but this one is like a whole twist on the story. Plus, Starbuck is cool.

Poseidon. Darn good, great effects and lots of people died, which is always a plus.

      Oh, I saw "Poseidon," too.

"LA LA LA LA, DON'T FUNK WITH MY HEART!"

      Pretty cool movie. Sad, though.

The last movie I saw was "The Ring 2." Utter crap.

I'm with you -- gotta be the best show on TV right now.

Last movie I saw was X3 -- really liked it. Maybe not quite as good as the 2nd one, but still a good time.

Saw Vanilla Sky tonight, after reading about on DV. It was really interesting but I have to think some more about it before I decide if I liked it or not...

Some movies take me a while to process before I can decide. I didn't immediately hate it even though it starred Tom Cruise, so that already says something.

I watched MirrorMask today. It was good. It had some cool creative bits in, some cool music, and i liked the main character. It wasn't amazing or anything, but it was alright.

      Theatres: A Scanner Darkly

Overstimulation at its finest and most tragic.

      DVD: Dave Chappelle's Block Party

Surprisingly great, something for everyone. And hilarious of course.
