Just watched American Me. It was a fantastic movie, great opening scene and plot. A great depiction of the devastation caused by gangs.

saw the new Tron
would have liked to see them expound on the idea that Flynn is actually God here, and can do whatever the fuck he wanted
what were the moral implications of that, how guilty was he for not explaining more earlier, or that he left his kids
maybe this was solved while he went all zen
dopeass movie though
I was into that
The Untouchables and The Ghost Writer.
I was pretty disappointed by both.
The Untouchables I would have just expected more. It had its moments, but I was neither impressed by acting nor suspense or story. I didn't feel much chemistry and just felt myself being quite annoyed by Kevin Costner.
The Ghost Writer was just incredibly shallow. For a "political thriller" it never went beyond the typical clichés and seemed to have been written by someone with little critical knowledge. The war crimes and "unjust wars" weren't investigated beyond the mere acknowledgment of water-boarding and, without wanting to give too much away, the ending and the whole "conspiracy" I found to be laughable.
The Green Hornet [B+] Real close to an A
So much better than I thought it would be
It's embarassing. Tangled.
It was so horrible that I'll never watch it again or recommend it to anyone. I was really let down.
Master and Commander, I love this movie. Great music.

I've watched a lot lately...
Black Swan - It was ok... I was kind of disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it.
Life As We Know It - Was good, had a few laughs. Nice to watch if you're bored. Kept me entertained.
Despicable Me - same as above
Tron and Tron Legacy - pretty cool. liked them both.
Hereafter- big disappointment.
Love and Other Drugs - pretty good.
127 Hours - Good.
Tangled - cute. kept me entertained.
Skyline - completely laughable. stupid. didn't like it, wouldn't recommend.
Easy A - it was alright.
Going The Distance - liked it, kept me entertained.
Due Date - was funny.
Letters To Juliet - boring.
The Social Network - was alright.
Little Fockers - funny. was pretty awkward watching it with your father and grandparents though.
Charlie St. Cloud - was pretty good I suppose.
Scott Pilgrim vs The World - pretty awesome. When I first saw the trailer I thought it would be stupid, but I was wrong.
Inception - very nice. of course. and of course i recommend.
The Fourth Kind - it was ok.
Megamind: dragged a bit early on, but lots of laughs and a sweet final battle--"Presentation!"
'The King's Speech'
some good performances and cinematography
just watched Megamind myself, I liked it a lot. Wonderful soundtrack, lots of funny moments. Enjoyed it a lot more than Despicable Me.
Cyrus [Ha!]
Legend of The Guardians The Owls of Ga'hoole [It was amazing.]
The Island: entertaining, though it probably could have been 45 minutes shorter.
loved that movie.
Last movie I saw was the jacket. Amazing. Its about a guy who is accused of murdering a cop, and gets sent to a mental institution. he gets locked in a box in a straight jacket and goes into the future, where he finds out he is going to die in a few days.
Avatar (extended cut). Loved the scenes they added in. A+
The Other Guys - alright. decent amount of laughs.
Dinner For Schmucks - Liked it. a lot of funny scenes.
The Man from Earth: that was cool. Extremely low-budget, half a dozen people having a conversation about a crazy situation, and that's it. It reminded me more of plays I've seen in small spaces with minimal sets than any other movie, though a lot of people compare it to 12 Angry Men, and you could draw some tenuous parallels to Waking Life.
green hornet
like
I hear reviews about horrendous movies and they can't be that bad no movie is this bad
but nope this one is
do not see the green hornet
the guns have more character than the actors do.
John Q.
Awesome movie! Watched it yesterday. I even cried during it lol.
The Book Of Eli
Since it's all apocolyptic it was depressing, but good at the same time. A friend told me it was confusing, but it's really not.
the asian dude in the green hornet is a huge pop star from my country. is he any good lol, because from what movies he's been in that i've seen, he's really lame. would hope he'd step it up in a hollywood film.
