      Post your favorite Asian music!!

      I listen to all kinds of music; so in addition to modern stuff I hear on the radio and such, I listen to a lot of Asian music, too ~ but a thread has never been posted about this!! I listen to a variety of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese music.





      C'mon, I know there's a lot of you out there. And I know a lot of you watch anime and/or read manga, too, so you guys in particular already like asian music by default! (I really like Inoue Joe's "Closer" -- it's definitely my fav intro song since Haruta Kanata....which was a looooong time ago, lol)

      Air rick, in order to embed a youtube video, all you need to do is take the end of the youtube link...

      say for instance, this video..

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P6UU6m3cqk

      You take everything after the equal sign, and copy it. Now we have...

      "5P6UU6m3cqk"

      Now you surround that with youtube tags. Same way you would bold something, like "[.b] text [/.b] " (obviously without the periods marked in there, except instead of the "b" for bold, it's "yt" for youtube.

      So you do it like this.. "[.yt]5P6UU6m3cqk[/.yt] but without the periods. Your end result is...

      I couldn't find any decent tracks online, but I like Tibetan and Nepalese traditional music. For the former, Acho Danny (kind of a singer/songwriter type, but on the traditional Tibetan dranyen) and for the latter, Sur Suddha.

      I'm lucky, too, these guys came by SF the other week on the Map Your Soul tour. It'll be quite a while before they ever visit the Bay again, I believe.
