Last series I finished watching was EF - A tale of Melodies. I'm currently near the end of the Tales of the Abyss series.

A friend of mine has been watching that. He showed me a little bit and it's going on my list.

I just watched the first 12 or so episodes of FMA today. Where have I been?!?

Still working on a few others, though. Gosh, how to do I get so many started?

      Used to..

      Love Hina was the best.

You know when I was ten.. Anime was a small hobby in America... Now everyone watches it....

I watched Naruto subtitled way before anyone watched it on Cartoon Network..
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

I just finished the Maison ikkoku series. I Highly reccomend it if you're into romantic/comedy type of films. I normally hate romantic comedies But this series blows even the hollywood stories out of the water.

You can watch it entirely on YT.

I finished DNAngel and the day before yesterday finished Elfen Lied. DNAngel was fun and light-hearted and while I really enjoyed it, the end felt a bit rushed. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10.

Elfen Lied was... interesting. The animation was good and the voice acting was excellent. The story line was intriguing. In the end it just didn't grab a hold of me. And quoting a friend of mine, "Thar be boobies in them hills..." Hmm...

Now I'm off to watch either Death Note, Mushishi, or continue on with Serial Experiments: Lain (if I'm feeling masochistic).

      Speaking of Death Note.

I've just started watching this online in between classes all over again. It's brilliant and I can never get enough of it.

The last anime I watched was Gunslinger Girl, I was sceptic at first... Cheesy plot, kinda bad art style for my tastes.

But after watching like 4-6 of the episodes, I suddenly shifted from "This is meh" to "This is the best shit ever め_め"
Seriously, it's just so, woah. I was expecting loli's with guns, I got drama, some nice character development, nice story and it totally made me cry, AND, loli's with guns!
      The opening:

Now I'm watching To Aru Majutsu no Index...
To be honest I don't really like it, but the art style is HOLY FUCK, some of the arcs in it are great, and the loli's are holy fuck aswell. Misaka 8D

And a few others, like Nagasarete Airantou, watching that as a second priority.

I'm considering watching some Elfen Lied after hearing the chilling intro song. Is it any good?

If you can get past the gore and "unneeded nudity" (as people claim) and see the beautiful, but sad, storyline behind it, then yeah it's great.

uhhh What's wrong with gore and unneeded Nudity? Anyway I downloaded the first three episodes and watched them already. So far it kicks ass. I'm dowloading the next 5 eps right now. I may even put them on DVD.

      Nothing is wrong with it...

It's just lots of people complain that it has too much gore and unneeded nudity.

Also, be sure to watch the OAV after Episode 10, or you can wait until you finish the series, doesn't matter. But it reveals some important stuff on Lucy's past.

Thanks. That sucks there's only 13 eps. It seems like a series that would have gone on longer. But yeah a pretty whacked story line. If I'm not mistaken Ghota and that other girl from his childhood... is his cousin? and she has the hots for him?

      Khouta*

And yeah, Yuka (his cousin) and him love each other. In japan, cousins can get married.

If you want a longer storyline, read the manga. It starts out similar to the Anime, but at one point the storylines part. I haven't read all of it though...

I just finished watching the t.v. episodes of Kimagure Orange Road.

I rate it on my top 5 anime favorites. No loli girls or catgirls. But just good storyline with comedy. A must watch for any anime fan.

The Death Note movie is being released on the 29th and 30th in U.S. theaters

Anyway, I started watching a bunch of anime shorts, The Melancholy of Haruhi-Chan.

The first episode just happened to involve lucid dreaming...
