Best Rated T (Teen) PC Games

I want to get a really good, fun, and entertaining PC game, as I am bored with my current ones (I have pretty much beaten all of them). It has to be rated T, because my parents are the kind that strictly abide by the ESRB ratings, and won’t let me get any M (or above) games.

But it can be borderline. You know. It can be gory, have lots of killing, whatever… as long as it’s T.

And if it’s not from the Call of Duty series or a similar military-based series (which my parents hate).

Here are some specifics to let you know the type I’m looking for:

I love FPSs (first person shooters). RTS (real-time strategy) games are good too, as long as they have good graphics.

In fact, good graphics are a must. As good graphics as possible. I have a good computer that can handle graphics-intensive games without any lag.

Multiplayer (online) is fine, as long as the online service is provided for free and is not the kind where you have to pay per month (no World of Warcraft, damnit).

To give you a clear cut idea of what I like based o existing games that I like:

If only a PC version of Halo Wars was released, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat.

It is an RTS (one of the game types that I like), it has killer graphics (or so say the screenshots that have been released so far), it’s entertaining and won’t get boring quickly, and it has a free multiplayer option via Xbox Live (Xbox Live isn’t free, but if you have it, the online function is free, you aren’t paying any more for it).

I already own Star Wars Battlefront II (awesome game).

I’m considering getting a game in the Battlefield series (maybe “Battlefield 2142”?).

      So... suggestions?

      (I know it’s difficult )

Counter Strike. Black and White. LOTR: BFME2. Medieval 2: Total War or Rome: Total War. GunZ: The Duel (is free, as in you can go on the website and download it right now and play it, I thought it was a really fun game a year or two ago).

You really are going to find a lack of good Teen shooters on PC.
You do this every fucking time.

Get Crysis. I sincerely doubt you'll be able to play that with no lag.

      Also:

      (which my parents hate).
Seriously? Grow a pair. Being told what games you can and can't get by your parents is something for 12 year olds who want GTA.

Battlefield 1942 is a WW2 game. (I don't know about 2142(?).) It's a good game. Medal of Honor is another one I enjoyed along the same lines; I played "Allied Assault" but haven't seen the others. The graphics are okay, but the gameplay and story line are good.

I don't know. (The list of games I've been into is fairly slim and primarily consists of Starcraft, Diablo, and the Jedi Knight games...) What games have you already played?

If you're under 17, you do need a legal guardian's consent to play Mature Rated games. But if you're 17, fucking grab sum nutz. You're parents may be able to say they don't like those kind of games, but you are legally allowed to purchase them and play them without the need of parental consent.

Besides, unless you're like, 12, there's no fucking reason not to be allowed to play Mature rated games. If your parents are closed minded, it's your duty to convince them, or straight up tell them that you're going to find a way to do it. Being told what to do your whole life will give you no satisfaction when you can finally do what you want.

      GET SUM NUTZ.

That being said, you really are missing out on really good games, since you're parents won't let you play M rated games.

Heh, fuck, I played Duke Nukem 3D when I was 6 or 7. Shit had titties and exploding monsters. Hell yeah!

Portal, maybe? It's quirky, it's challenging...

Portal would definitly be good to get...

But then again, I'm sure most of these games now-and-days would be rated "T" if they were made back then..

BF2142 is pretty good. Sins of a Solar Empire is also pretty entertaining...for awhile.

Dude, if you've got any older friends, just get them to buy it for you. I had a couple of buddies awhile back who did just that with this older kid we used to hang out with.

From one PC gamer to another I would have to reccomend the Galactic Civilization series. It may be a turn based strategy game, but I fell in love with it WHEN I PLAYED THE DEMO. I would also recomend Sins of a Solar Empire, the elder scrolls 3: morrowind, and Black and White 2

Same situation. I'm going with Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Has 5 star reviews!
