Counter Strike. Black and White. LOTR: BFME2. Medieval 2: Total War or Rome: Total War. GunZ: The Duel (is free, as in you can go on the website and download it right now and play it, I thought it was a really fun game a year or two ago). |

I want to get a really good, fun, and entertaining PC game, as I am bored with my current ones (I have pretty much beaten all of them). It has to be rated T, because my parents are the kind that strictly abide by the ESRB ratings, and won’t let me get any M (or above) games. |

WakataDreamer's Dreamworld - My DJ

Project Pandora [B]
~ I'll give this some attention, maybe get it going again some time in the future

You really are going to find a lack of good Teen shooters on PC. |

Get Half-Life. |
|
Battlefield 1942 is a WW2 game. (I don't know about 2142(?).) It's a good game. Medal of Honor is another one I enjoyed along the same lines; I played "Allied Assault" but haven't seen the others. The graphics are okay, but the gameplay and story line are good. |

If you're under 17, you do need a legal guardian's consent to play Mature Rated games. But if you're 17, fucking grab sum nutz. You're parents may be able to say they don't like those kind of games, but you are legally allowed to purchase them and play them without the need of parental consent. |

Portal, maybe? It's quirky, it's challenging... |
|
Portal would definitly be good to get... |
|
BF2142 is pretty good. Sins of a Solar Empire is also pretty entertaining...for awhile. |

If you like RTS you can get the old Starcraft. Try to convince your parents to get you Half-Life. It kicks ass. Guild Wars is good if you like the whole mmorpg thing (it's free too). |

I don't know why people talk about legally buying M games with parental consent... I bought Halo: CE when I first got an XBox, which was about 2002, I was 13. |
|
Goldney, Grod, AmazeO: I'm under 17 dammit. Or else I would just buy M games myself. |

Don't listen to the BAD advice of people trying to tell you to "grab a pair" or otherwise deceive your parents. |
|
Just show them clips of the games you want. Say something like the game was just rated M for language. Works for me except my parents don't really care about violent M games, as long as it isn't too "sexual" . |

I wouldn't encourage someone to deceive their parents. That wouldn't solve the dispute and would more than likely escalate it. |

For my crew, violent games make them more violent. I actually tried an experiment with them about it. The more cursing and violence they're exposed to- the more they imitate it. |

I don't intend to be rude, but, it seems that you're being very closed-minded. |

Wow, off topic, guys? |

It depends entirely on what your belief system is. To me, magic is very real. I used to be a Solitary Practicioner or Wicca, I also did a fair share of dream interpretation and tarot card readings for people and I was very good |
|
But wouldn't you say that believing something doesn't make it so? Due to the fact that if magic was real, we'd actually be able to see evidence running rampant means that there's even less of a chance that it's real than God. If you consciously know that the magic performed on stage and magic in games isn't real, what difference does it make? Don't you think it's a little hypocritical to disallow your children to play video games that include magic or see a magic show, but you would allow them to practice stage magic? Let's assume magic is real. The magic in those shows and on video games still isn't. |

I'm going to make a thread in the Extended Discussions Page so I don't hijack this one any further. |
