      Saddest Endings

My friend and I were talking, what are some of the saddest endings ever?

      I got:
      Romea and Juliet
      The Notebook
      City of Angles
      Ghost
      Old Yeller
      Casablanca
      Gone with the Wind
      The Godfather
      Hamlet
      Titanic

Also the episode of Futurama called Jurassic Bark

A story I have yet to tell in full. One day.

      One day...

      Les Enfants du Paradis

      Charlie Chaplin's Limelight
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0235060/ <----- This Chinese movie The Road Home was the saddest thing I've ever seen. I was inconsolable. I could almost feel breasts springing up on my chest.

And if you include operas, Madame Butterfly of course.

I love a good tearjerker. It's good to be reminded that there's still a heart beating in there somewhere (better than checking for a pulse).

The Elephant Man (1980) was the saddest thing I have watched thus far. It evoked very strong feelings.

I like tear-jerking endings (to a degree). I don't usually get blubbery over a quick ending, but when it's long and drawn out that's when it gets to me.

There was a movie where a man dies and is reincarnated as a dog. I'm trying to remember the name of it but I cried at the end... what was it?... I'll remember as soon as I post this. *looks it up* Fluke. Not a blockbuster, but I enjoyed it (when I was ~14)... and cried.

I'm told I cried at the end of Bambi when I was 4 or 5. I don't remember it but I think it's possible.

It was sort of sad, but at the same time it was a fantastic ending. I smiled through the tears.

The entire last episode from the anime Air. Seriously! It was like 10 minutes of prolonged sadness. Good show, but sad.

I also cried at the *spoiler that 4/5 ppl know* at the end of the 6th Harry Potter book. Yes I did. I've cried at other books as well but I can't think of all of them.

My girlfriend always gives me shit because I cried at the end of that movie. I think the only other movie that has made me cry was Kiki's Delivery service. Those were tears of inspiration. Believe in yourself, Kiki!
