God, I could do this all night...fucking LOVE Radiohead. Thom Yorke is a genius.

Also, I've been pretty big on Skrillex lately. A little more on the heavier/more intense side (his last act was a post-hardcore band), but I'm really impressed by the level of intricacy he can introduce into his music.

When my dad bought Play, it was pretty much my first introduction to electronica, and I've got to credit it with having a big part in, earlier in my life, encouraging me to explore unfamiliar territory in music. I'm surprised he's not been mentioned (except in nN's post, but half the industry is mentioned there).

I have a library consisting of nothing but Liquid Drum and Bass, Prog. House and some Dubstep (Zeds Dead, Flux Pavilion, Grifta, etc.) I've really been getting into liquid DnB, I've already collected almost all the DrumandBassArena albums and have been replaying the shit out of Summer Selection 2011. Stuff like Solitary Native, Blvd, Resolved and Ur in my Head. Fred V is also the greatest thing since canned bread and Kush Talk takes the cake for "Greatest Song of All Time" with When it Doesn't coming in at second.

Dubstep, eh? May I make some reccomendations:

This one is "Beasts In The Basement" by Reso

trippy...

This is kinda between dubstep and DnB, but it's awesome either way.

Skrillex is the man when it comes to this kind of music. His mixes always sound so complex and detailed. It's basically the polar opposite of the stereotypical zone out "wobwobwobwob" dubstep. He makes use of a nice mix of genres too.

Some awesome dubstep dancing I ran into today.

It's amazing, nothing else to say. I'm considering learning to dance like that, although dubstep isn't that big at the parties I go to. Hard to dance like that without the right music. Not sure how to put it, but normal dancing is just so boring. Dubstep focuses on pure raw rythm with rigid and incredibly precise relative motion.

Just look up some tutorials on Popping, Waving and Floor-Gliding. (There are plenty on youtube) His style is a mixture of the 3, but you will see that they go well with many other styles of music than just dubstep.

Heh, I might just give it a shot. I've almost mastered moon walking, although the upperbody movement still needs a lot of refinement.

I like all kinds of electronic music, but I always come back to 80s synth pop.

Something about those synths just can't be beat by more polished sounds I hear today.

However, I also love classic 90s/early millennium trance. This one is a rocking orgasmic one, among my pure favorites...

Not as much as I should, but I do still dance around the house a bit. There's a bar around here called Shotz that has a dance floor, but I only go there every so often. I'm steadily getting back into it, though.
