Thread: Left 4 Dead extended trailer [MUST SEE]

I've been watching this game ever since they've announced it, so I'll have all your answers.

I've wanted this game when they said the words "Valve" and "Zombies" in the same sentence.

So is it a squad game?

Four person online co-operative. In Versus mode, it's four survivors versus four player controlled boss zombies.

Is there a single player?

Yes, you can play it offline with the other three characters being controlled by bots. It's essentially the same online as it is offline, only with bots instead of actual people. There's no single player story mode or anything, just the four main maps.

played the demo last night!!

really really cool, it's like a game rendition of 28 days later without using the exact same name and story (cuz that would have likely sucked)

I'm guessing there's online 4 player co-op

anyways, superb reviews by the demo alone, the gameplay has some very original ideas

just wait till you play the 4 player co-op. haha

I can't believe you LIKED the game without playing online.

Ya seriously, the online is what the game is based around. Single player is extra.

Anybody who wants in, me and some other people are gonna wait 'till the game is released tonight, then we're gonna jump right on. If you have it fully downloaded, you're welcome to tag along with us. I don't know how many people I've got so far, somewhere between 3-5. Message me, my account is posted on another page.



That's from an earlier game me and some other guys played. We jumped on top of the door and let the molotovs fly. They Burned up extra molotovs and blew up the gas tanks.

May I ask what settings you are running at?

I hate my computers graphic card. /sigh. I want a new computer so I can play.

So, if anything, it would be a good thing that Valve lower their games violence for Germany if they did get attacked for a kid being a "Counter-Strike" player that did a school shooting. But please, let's keep this on topic about Left 4 Dead and not stuff like that.

And I don't see how censorship of L4D is not about L4D.

Anyone up to beating the campaigns on expert? Can't find anyone online that stays through the whole thing.

I'm willing to do a couple of campaigns on expert.

You'll have to catch me at the right time to do it though, but this week should be fine.
