God oh god that was AMAZING. What an epic epic epic performance by Heath.

I'll never forget the experience at the theater. It was today (a Monday), and there was a huge line to get into the theater. The place was completely sold out.. thank god one person in our group thought to buy the tickets in advance.

When the movie started, there was complete and utter silence. All those people - not one of them made a sound. No popcorn crunching, no nothing.

      Spoiler for heath ledger/joker:

Oh! And! I had an eerie moment where I recognized "my" city. I didn't know parts of it (at least) were filmed in Chicago.

I didn't see the movie yet, but they left some signs and stuff from the filming. These Gotham City signs are all over Chicago. It is so cool.

I wasn't sure where it was so I googled it. That is the back of a post office downtown on Van Buren. The front of that building was the bank in the movie.

Here is some pictures of the police department:

I got really carried away doing this. I was watching all the youtube videos of this stuff. They have videos of Gotham police helicopters flying around.

Great movie, I was really pleantsly surprised. For a 'pulp'/hollywood superhero movie, it was pretty deep, and awesome.

      Still, a bit overrated. 8/10

It isn't the 3th best movie ever as it is ranked now at IMDB.

Oh man... it was so good. Saw it a second time yesterday.

I think heath was so good as joker because he was really amusing - and you'd start to laugh - then you'd realize he's insane and you really shouldn't be laughing. So he makes a sort of conflict in you, the viewer. Pretty intense.

Oh now now. Two-face wasn't that far fetched. Check out this guy. He's doing alright with half a face... ha. I'm really glad he wasn't bumpy and purple though... that would've been way worse. It's pretty odd how he randomly has a two-face suit though. Eh whatever. Suspending disbelief...

I wonder if that dude with the scar on his neck'll be in the next one. Feels like he should be... penguin too. And riddler. Played by Jim Carrey again. :3

The movie was really good, but Batman, and two face where boring characters.

You're lucky there--I had highschool kids behind me who talked through the whole movie Also there was something wrong with the sound system, where sometimes the volume would drop and/or the sound would go tinny. I was able to pretty much accept it and still enjoy the movie, but it was easily my worst theater experience ever.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
