Can this thread be merged into this one, mods?
I personally thought it was the best season finale of any TV show I've seen.
yes it could have very well gone into that thread but that was posted before the finale hapened and i wanted to hear everybodys thoughts now that it has been shown
But the finale is still part of Season 4, hence, the Season 4 discussion thread :P
Oh yeah, and that scene with Ben turning the Frozen Donkey Wheel was so intense, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
When the video guy told Locke "Under no circumstances put anything metal in the chamber" and Locke gave Ben that "Mmmwuh?" look, I LOLed. It's an old joke, but A+ for execution.
Loved it.
I'm curious as to how they're going to get Kate and Aaron back in the island after that creepy dream with Claire. Also, I hope they explain why Ben can't return there.
At least, Desmond got his deserved happy ending.
And this line was awesome: "Check mate, Mr. Eko." :D
yea because it made it seem like kate was going to take claires warning to heart and not go back but she has to end up there somehow ha
and it was nice to see desmond back with penny because from the very get go that was all that he wanted
i wanted to see where the island moved to though and whats going to happen with that???
next season i suppose
Does anyone else think that Charlotte is a reincarnation of Charlie? She said she was searching for where she was born. And the psychic guy said that she'd been to the island before.
Awesome finale.
Pretty sweet, though the Season 2 finale was the best so far ('I was wrong', omgawesome) and all episodes are inevitably inferior to the time travelling Desmond one, but otherwise pretty great.
Felt slightly sorry for Ben and what Jacob did to him, he's such a great actor and probably the best anti hero ever on screen. Not entirely sure what that was but, uh... yeah, being forced to abandon the thing he loved most forever.
The end was surprising of course (I thought it might be Jack's dad)... but I think he'll come back to life when he returns to the island. That's not the first time a coffin's been there. Also, this is three years in the future remember... the next season must span a much larger time than the others, I reckon.
Also I think that maybe Jin survived to be picked up by Faraday, although what happened to the little boat was left completely uncertain... Also Michael might also be okay, as Christian appeared at the last moment.
Christian said "You can go now, Michael", which meant the island would now allow him to die. Or maybe that's what they want us to think.
Oh yeah, I just read that. Don't believe I didn't understand that the first time. :|
He sorta went like Charlie then, but it's a shame that the issue with Walt was never resolved.
Well, at least he went on good terms with Jin.
I don't follow... what does Charlie have to do with Charlotte? She was around(not on the Island, but alive) before he died.
Word, 'The Constant' set the bar amazingly high.
I agree, I love Ben's character, but fret not, little one.
He's going to be back... if you remember, he told Jack "We have to take him back" not 'you'...
The third season will span more time definitely, but remember, time on the Island is anything but traditional, we don't know what happened to time after Ben moved the Island.
I guarantee Jin is alive, he didn't get a real death scene, but every major character has. Christian was the Island finally releasing it's hold on Michael. He's dead.
It seems that could be a figure standing where Jin was standing when he was watching the helicopter leave. But, it also looks like the big black container thing right next to him is now open, what does this mean, I have no idea!

Jin on the deck as the Helicopter leaves.

The freighter, right before it explodes. Could be a figure standing there???

Yeah, that was definitely Michael's death scene
Very true
It's a good thought, but we saw her alive in the Freighter-centric episode. The one where they introduced the backstory of Faraday, Miles, Charlotte and Frank. It took place many weeks before Charlie died.
