      Okay, I thought it was going to be another hack'em'up film, but at 1:11 it got REALLY creepy.

      I'm sure it's still going to be another stupid slasher flick, but that was some DAMN good trailer editing there.

      As soon as it hits 1:28, you'll know what I mean. Something is just twisted and creepy about that little girl voice on the record repeating over and over, as the trailer continues.

      It scares me. Really.

      Oh, btw. It comes out this Friday.

      It would be between Entertainment and The Lounge, and my cursor was closer to the Lounge. LOL

      Oh, and it was mainly about the trailer, and the skipping in the trailer. Not the movie so much.

      Yeah, that works and doesn't work for it.

      It works because it is just that, a simple answer. And it's scary that they just want to kill because they are THERE.

      On the flip side, it doesn't work because it seems like an excuse to have any story, whatsoever.

      Just saw it.

      HOLY SHIT.

      The tension was palpable. Personally, I think it's the scariest movie I've seen. Now, I'm not a horror aficionado, but... God. The constant tension.

      I was disappointed with the movie. I will agree with Sagea that it does a good job of building tension, but that is about all I will grant it. From the opening narration:
      Spoiler for Spoilered even though it doesn't spoil anything.:

      I expected "brutal events," which just never happened. That and the ending was terrible.
      Spoiler for Ending Spoilers:

      It would have been a much better movie with a slightly altered ending, and some actual slasher flick moments (14A in Canada, I should have expected this to be lacking). Honestly, change these things and I can forgive the movie its many other failings (namely its unoriginality). Maybe the DVD release will offer me these things, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone right now.
