      Tell me your favorite movies

Well, I'm sure there's a few long-lost topics like this one, but what the hell, right?

      Share your favorite movies.

There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men, Gladiator, Donnie Darko, Waking Life, American Beauty, The Departed, Gangs of New York, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Training Day, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Se7en, Terminator 2, Alien, Aliens, Predator 1&2, A Beautiful Mind, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, Fargo, Kill Bill 1&2, Pulp Fiction, Blow, Heat, Pan's Labyrinth, Collateral.

      I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch!
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
      - Albert Einstein
"We're so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive, is what it is all about."
      -Joseph Campbell
"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilisation should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."

"Lord Of War" was a great movie. it was great. I like how they show you what nikolas cage is thiking throughout, it makes you have better appreciation for storyline.

And the other Nikolas cage movies are good too except for national treasure.

The lord of the rings movies too are great.

The Sixth Sense - So well made o_o So many damn shock effect dialogue things, twists and other nasties D: And it's all done using almost no blood at all, compared to most horror movies. Is this even a horror movie? It's just... The Sixth Sense. If you havn't watched it, watch it. Try the official trailer, it's on YouTube..

      "I see dead people."

Pirates of the Caribbean - Awesome
I am Legend - Cool, ending was meh :l

And ofcourse Shaun of the Dead and Interview with a Vampire too! It was on youtube once... The whole of it. Damnit, I need to watch that thing again.
Thanks for reminding me MrBeelzy :p

There have been a lot of good movies mentioned in this thread, but Requiem for a Dream is down right fantastic. Other movies not mentioned yet that I love are Casino, Goodfellas, Rob Roy, Easy Rider, and Army of Darkness. /edit every Hayao Miyazaki movie ever too

Maeni if you like Shaun of the Dead you should watch Spaced, it's in my top five favorite series ever.

I just watched There Will Be Blood for the second time. What a classic scene.

Best acting I've seen in a movie. Day-Lewis' performance was better then amazing, it was unbelievable. It really felt like he actually was Daniel Plainview.

A Good Year. It's the only romance movie I really like. The setting is so beautiful and it reminds me of summer.

August Rush. it was just amazing

Bridge to Terabithia. It may be kind of a kid movie, but it was the only movie that ever made me cry. And I never cry.

movies that I like because they bring back good memories: the Sandlot and My Neighbor Totoro

      and finally

The Ringer and What About Bob cause they're hilarious.
