Thread: Chihiro Onitsuka

I'm don't really like J-pop. But I've been a fan of Chihiro for a long time now. If you've never heard of her, she's a Japanese singer that debuted in the late 90s, and won over many fans with her numerous and fantastic hit singles. The reason I'm making this post is because she recently came back from a long break due to throat surgery, depression, and exhaustion, and started performing again.

Unlike with most other artists, where I'll like one or two of the songs they compose, I don't think there's a single Chihiro song that I don't like, which is saying something. Even though I don't understand what she's saying, she probably is the most emotional performer I've ever heard.

Thanks for posting that. I really love japanese culture, I just wish I knew more about this sort of thing. =P
