I actually like Ruben's "Celebrate Me Home" song. Definitely better than "Had a Bad Day."

Every year they pick a new song and play it each time someone goes home. Last year it was Chris Daughtry's "Home" - which was WAY better than the one for this year.

Boooo, I disagree. I thought David A was going to win because I thought he was more popular. But I really think David C deserved to win.. he has a maturity that A doesn't yet.

Not to mention it was his first, last, and only shot at it.

David C. deserved to win, but David A. should've won...

You say popular...my friends say popular, heck, everybody says popular. Only God knows how sick I am of that word... I've yet to her ANYONE, besides the AI judges, give a well-though examination on singing ability, the reason ANY Idol gets into or wins the competition. If it were based on singing only, it would've been Chris and Taylor 2 years ago, and not Taylor and McVirus...

Yes, some maturity is required, but he's only 17!! He's more mature than most boys his age! Jordan Sparks is the same. And, to me, singing gives them more maturity than most realize...

David Archuleta had no stage presence and was uncomfortable in front of the camera. He would do really well singing Disney songs for soundtracks, but that's it.

David Cook is much more versatile and has his own style. I can see him actually selling records, whereas David Archuleta would not. Cook definitely deserved to win - and the funny thing is that all the judges totally swayed the audience to vote for Archuleta in the finale, but David Cook won anyway!

FINALLY someone who I actually want to win! I think this is the first year that's ever happened. I thought for sure Archuleta was going to win, but I'm sooo glad they got it right this time

David A. could sing anything. And you can work on stage presence. And there are tons people his age (and older!!!) who are uncomfortable in front of a camera. Again, people work arond such flaws.

My mother said David A. should go the Michel Buble' road. I kind of agree with her. But I still say America got it wrong....

I think you are the only person I've met that wanted Archuleta to win... I'm sure he'll still get a record deal and everything, so don't be too upset

I'm pleasantly surprised that D. Cook won. I was so convinced that they were going to give it to David A. - not that he wasn't talented enough to deserve it, but I don't think he quite has the "trademark appeal" that D. Cook had.

David A. has a great voice and very awesome and technical styling. David C. has a great voice as well, but he accells in musical brilliance. He is much more capable (as of now) of being his own "mark" in the music industry, and creating his own masterpieces. He is what innovative icons like Prince, Madonna, M.J., etc. are all about. They are so much more than just great voices.

He could've been one of the greats too, if America had given him a chance....

I think he will get a record label. His voice kind of reminds me of Elliot Yamin. So yeah, I think he'll be fine.
