      Talking New Futurama episodes starting March 23!

      I saw this advertisement on Comedy Central the other day, saying there will be all new Futurama starting March 23. I knew that the series was canceled, so at first I thought it meant the new Futurama feature-length DVD. I looked it up on Wikipedia, and it confirmed that Futurama is starting up again!

      There will be 16 new episodes airing on Comedy Central, consisting of the 4 straight-to-DVD films already confirmed. (It'll be sort of like the Imaginationland Trilogy of South Park) The 1st quartet of episodes will be the DVD movie Bender's Big Score.

      Not the best idea, but still, New Futurama!

      Questions/Thoughts?

      Great show. It's like the ultimate nerd cartoon. Looks like the same thing that happened to family guy is happening to futurama.

      Yeah, I hope it comes back too.

      And no, it will not air on Adult Swim. The contract for Adult Swim with Futurama ended January 1, 2008, and on that very day, it started airing on Comedy Central. So no.

      However, im afraid that the series will become crap - like the simpsons - as they run out of good ideas and start putting random unfunny jokes in. I noticed this happening in some episodes on the 4th season..... but who knows!

      anyway Futurama ftw!
