Indiana Jones has always had plenty of unbelievable moments. I haven't seen the new one yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some things in it that make you just go: "Oh...right....ok...:roll:" just like there were in the last ones.
As far as the punching goes, the trademark, over the top "POW" sound, along with all of the one-punch knockouts, has been a part of Indy films since the beginning. Jumping into a fridge to survive a nuclear blast (at face value) sound no less believable than Indy wrapping his ankle once in the strands of a rope bridge to survive cutting it in half and dropping a good 50 yards against a stone wall, or Willie being unharmed during a plummet into a firey pit and being suspended 5 feet over the surface of the lava, when another man burst into flames, screaming in pain, when he was still like 20 ft away.
