Ohh David Yates has a body bag with his name on it. We also need to kidnap Alfonso Cuaron and force him to take over directing and for the Deathly Hallows too.

I don't think it was that bad, I mean...it stays pretty true to the book. Except in the book you don't know what spell Bellatrix hits Sirius with, and in the movie, she obviously hits him with the killing curse.

Although instead of having that weird really fake looking wavey thing in the archway, I actually would have had a really strange surreal looking/feeling semi-transparent veil that he actually slow motion falls through and disappears behind...rather than just getting floated off into space like a ghost.

And I would have liked to hear some of Harry's screaming instead of muting all of it out. And I would have kept Lupin's line in when he's crying "he can't come back Harry he can't come back" ....god DAMN I should have directed this movie!!!

Oh God don't even get me started on how much they fu*ked up.

But it's with nearly every book turned movie.

I agree with the way you would have shot it, but I would have shot the archway from the side, or at least from an angle, instead of head on. And I wouldn't have him getting sucked into it. He would fly through it, but not come out the other side, but the veil would flap about from the disturbance his mass caused from colliding with it on the one side.

Doh... when I saw that video and saw Nina's info about those three castings I was starting to think that it was going to be alright. But now I know they're cutting scenes that are that important to the plot, I can just see it being another let-down

I didn't like it when it changed. It seemed way too small to me, especially in the 2nd one.

And how about Dumbledore? I loved the first one. The guy we have now doesn't do the role right. And why in freaking hell does he tye his beard??!!

Me and my ex-best friend used to lay in bed with our wands and do all the spells along with the characters in the movies haha. Yes we are nerds. Yes we were also on drugs. Yes it was enormous loads of fun. Yes I miss him. =(

But at least I've got fictional characters to keep me company.

Don't feel bad, I use my HP lumos wand to help me find find clothes in the dark every morning. And I can't help myself from saying "lumos" and "nox" when I flick it on and off
