JD, have you seen ANY of the Dragonball movies, yet?

If not, you're really missing out. I started a thread around here a while ago, where I had links to every one of them, but now they have been mostly taken down by youtube. I'm going to go see if I can update it.

Well I'll be happy to watch - Just know that I stopped watching it (sadly) at when Goku turns SSJ 4 in DBGT

I stopped watching at the end of the Buu saga, and I had to struggle to get through that. Honestly, I think it all began going downhill, after the Cell Saga, which was awesome.

I hated DBGT.

But anyway, that's not going to affect the movies at all, since they don't even get into anything DBGT related.

Is it in Dragonball GT? I saw a battle once on YouTube, obviously it had to have crappy audio over the top of it. But it was him and Goku fighting, early on in Dragonball Z I think. Or it may of been Dragonball.

Broly is not a "real" character, in the sense that he wasn't created by Akira Toriyama. He originally appeared in his own movie, which are notorious for not making sense in the story line. He was never in the true series. (Dragon Ball - Dragon Ball Z)

Oh right, was he not? I'm guessing the storyline about Dragonball AF where he turns SSJ3 is garbage then.

Lol, no shit. Anything past the Buu saga (DBGT) isn't "real". SSJ3 is the last "real" transformation. Anything past isn't "real". (I'm putting the apologetic quotes so someone isn't like 'OMG ROFL DBZ ISN'T REAL U NOOB')

What the hell though, if it's fun, watch it. The Broly movies are full of great action.

Yeah the movies are considered to be non-cannon but the only movies that make sense are movie 9 and 13. ( 9 being Bojack Unbound and 13 being Wrath of the Dragon. ) Akira had 10% control of GT ( that's why Goku and Vegeta and Gogeta don't look like complete retards in Super Saiyan 4 ).
SSJ5 is a fan fiction transformation. Although you can play as SSJ3 Broly and SSJ5 Goku in the Mugen games, which is pretty damn fun! Lol.
If Broly battled LITTLE Goku in Dragonball, there was no chance of Goku winning. Broly isn't in GT neither. He only appears in 3 movies, 2 of which, are himself fighting and the third one, Bio-broly, is just a clone.
