      The Best Story in a Video Game...

      What's your fav storyline from any video game you've ever played? There's so many awesome ones out there, but I'd say probably from either "The Longest Journey" or "Tales of Symphonia".

      Secret of Mana. why? Because it's awesome. Great plot, nice setting, and a bittersweet ending. That game is a complete and total MUST if you like games at all.

      The entire Thief trilogy was pretty amazing. Keeper would agree with me on me on this.
      Personally I've never beome quite so obsessed with a game as I did with that one.

      I think Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater/Subsistance had a really good story to it. To be honest most metal gear games do. However this one made you really feel for Big Boss/Snake, especially at the torture scene.

      Another game with a good story is The Darkeness (ps3) really good story to it.

      I've just been playing through Half-Life 2 for the first time, story is excellent so far, if a bit disjointed. I also started Mass Effect, this is one of my fav stories in a game so far.

      Arcanum: Of Magick And Steamworks Obscura

      I played through that game, and my god, it has one hell of a well written story. Too bad the game never sold well...

      Other great game stories include:
      F.E.A.R. - Well, with this one, you more find out what the hell is going on as you go along, but it is still pretty good... some great scares

      ... and I'm sure there are other games I played with good stories, but nothing else comes to mind at the moment in time
