If you haven't been watching dexter, you should be, it is bar none, the best, most well written show on television. It follows Dexter Morgan, who suffered a traumatic experience in his childhood before being adopted by a police officer, Harry Morgan. Harry recognizes Dexter's sociopathic tendencies at a young age, and teaches Dexter how to channel his urges properly: basically by killing, and dissecting those who deserve it.
You should do what you can to get a hold of these episodes and get caught up, as you wouldn't want to start watching it as it airs, because the second season is almost over, and character development, and an ongoing plot are a big part of this show. Christmas isn't too far off, and season 1 is out on DVD. Hell get it as a gift for your mom/dad, or significant other and make them watch it with you, you will not regret it.
I wouldn't bother reading the books, 1 was alright, I didn't make it through the second to be honest, and three is generally regarded as crap.
And for people who do watch it (oh god I hope some of you do).

Another very sinister show. Alot of similar themes in this as in death note. Ive seen the first season (mised a couple eps >

).

not to mention the sickest opening to a show.

I've watched the first series ...pure brilliance unfortunately in Good old merry england we won't get the second series for a while (has it even been made) still i love it! It's also quite funny in a sinister way.

My boyfriend and I just watched the first three episodes for the first time last night and we're both hooked, however.....

There are sooooo many cheesy lines in that show, I'm already starting to get annoyed.

And the one scene I can't get out of my head, I think it's in the first episode. He goes with his girlfriend to a rave or something and they're eating crab or whatever and then he sees cop cars and lights just outside of the party, and rushes over. And there out in plain sight is this chopped up body.

Can someone please explain this to me??? When would this EVER happen? A serial killer just hit, here's the body all chopped up and laying on the ground, but yeah, you guys at the rave just 30 feet away, party it up! Just make sure not to look over this way at the human body all chopped up into a million pieces with the blood completely drained out it's body, and not covered or hidden at all. I mean, come on.

I say shit. WHO cares if it is Hollywood, make it seem believable. Right?

Well, I'm usually really good at accepting something the way it is and just focusing on the really good parts of it and ignoring the bad. I try not to get my panties in a knot too much. But this was just so ridiculous that even I couldn't handle it. Can you imagine stepping away from the party for a second, to say take a call on your cell or something, and oh look at that. A chopped up human body laying on the ground. And there were only like, 5 cops or something at the scene. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not watch very ,much TV and have a hard time sitting down for long >>
Yesterday into evening into night My wife ,sister and myself sat down to watch the 9 episodes of dexter's last season.

What an awesome show. There is never a point that the show is not intense.
none.
And I find myself rooting for a serial killer.
