      Stepmania!

Anyone heard of it? It is an ace game, it's your basic rytham game, but with a keyboard, and you press the arrow keys to the beat of the song. There's an online game that hasthe same gameplay as Stepmania, it's at www.FlashFlashRevolution.com, it's a flash game that's attached to a big community (mostly american) with ranks, credits and all that stuff. The game itself is actually quite good, but most of the people in the chatrooms and forum are obsessed with 'pwning' each other. Lol, I got accused of hitting on people for calling them goodlooking, when some guy was doing it 10X more than I was, but I wasn't even doing it badly, I only said it to two people. Anyway! There's some good videos of this game on YouTube, and obviously there's videos of FlashFlashRevolution too but why not just take a look?

Good to see you back JD...it's been a long time since you've been on the forum. I haven't played many games, either console or PC for quite some time...but I'll have a look at this. I was always curious about the dance-like rythym games and if this is at my disposal right here i'll give it a wee try...sounds like it could be some good fun.

      Hey thanks, Bro.

Yeah, take a look, it's quite fun. I found it fun anyway.

Bit of a topic revival here but I came across this topic and just gotta say YES I love stepmania! Haven't really tried flash flash revelution but I got annoyed that you could only use the arrow keys, or can you change that?

If you go on SM database you can download tracks, some of them are really good. Some of them were made by n00bs (FFR members - Don't kill me).

Thanks Blargh for reviving this thread, I thought it was a stupid idea for everyone to ignore it.

I am soooo awesome at stepmania, my high score's like 12 katrillion and i got to level 100 but it reset the counter back down to 0

I don't play Stepmania, btw. My friend does and I like to make fun of him.

I've gotten quite good at the real DDR.. I can do the highest setting on some of the songs, and the rest I can do on next to the highest.

And I only just today played the flash version, and I can do the "light" setting or whatever very well. I don't think I'll pursue these though... I'll stick with the real thing.

Get the PS2 version. I think there's something out for XBox (360?) as well.

If anyone wants to challenge me on Stepmania, be my guest. We can play online.

I've AAA Vertex Beta before and passed Disregard with an 81 million.

I'm not the best but damn I'm made of own.

Party at my house? Bring an extra mat and we can go head-to head....

Though, Mes, I think you'd kick my hind-end. I can only do standard on a few of them, but I'm getting better... Considering I've only had it for four days.
