      Extras - Christmas Special

      Anyone see it?

      Proof that Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are comedic giants, surely? I cried when Andy did his Big Brother rant, and then laughed when Clive Owen slated Maggie. It was beautiful.

      Darker than the Office specials, but I thought it worked. Karl Pilkington's cameo was inspired.

      Any thoughts? Please Christ let people have seen it.

      I didn't think it was as funny as it should have been. The jokes were spread too thinly.

      I remembered it backwards.

      Mmm...true about the jokes being too thinly spread. The ones there were were excellent, and I think it's possible an excuse to say it was the last one and they were going for a more serious meaning.
