who here likes manga or anime?
i like anime/manga especillay Bleach and Naruto and Onepiece.

I'll be the first to say, that shit sucks. It is stupid and ugly. I hate it.

There should be a choice in between. I'm not opposed to anime. But I do think it has created some first class dorks in the West.

No the freaks/losers/nerds/dorks that watch this stuff and make it their entire life are the psychopathic freaks. Although, I watched pokemon once. When the cards were popular and stuff I didn't like the game, but I liked getting good cards and hustlin em for money. Good times. Make some serious bank off those losers.

You're making a really huge blanket statement. That's like saying "ALL live-action tv shows suck". Sure, most do, but some are really good.

That's the problem, right there (as is the case with most people who can make the sweeping generalization that "anime sucks"). The problem is that you've seen a little of the shittiest anime known to man, and concluded that "anime sucks."

Spend some time on the better anime (and, even better yet, some of the better anime movies). Watch some Cowboy Bebop, some Outlaw Star, some Berserk, Trigun, Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo, etc. (DBZ is an acquired taste that you would actually have to watch either select episodes or the entire series to enjoy.) These are all good series. As far as movies: Watch Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Street Fighter II, Venus Wars, Fatal Fury, and a list of others.

The "after school anime" that they show in the states, and is a big part of the adolescent anime culture in the U.S. (Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc.) are shit, and nothing to base your idea of "what anime is" off of.

uuuhm i dont really love it...i dont hate it either... but its cool. I watch manga sometimes. u should put an other option in the vote stuff something like "not a big fan but still watch it"
