      Cool Anybody Here Like Stargate?

      I absolutely love Stargate and just have to know if there are any other Fan boys/girls here on the forum!

      I thought the film was mediocre.

      I have no idea why they decided to do all this other stuff based on such an inept film. Needless to say I don't have much interest in watching it.

      To be honest, he was just stating an opinion on the show.

      I for one, found the show alright but lost interest after the first few series.

      Stargate SG-1 ran for a whopping 10 seasons... Atlantis is starting it's 4th soon... Two movies are on the way... a new series is in the works called Stargate Universe.. a new stargate MMORPG is in development... its quite a franchise they've built out of that movie...

      I didn't say Stargate was crap, I just put forward my opinion that it was surprising that a franchise be borne from such a forgettable film. And I'm not the only one that shares this opinion: link.

      Apparently Stargate Universe deals with the 9th cheveron and will open up a whole new "universe" for fans...

      If you want Atlantis to get interesting it's probably gonna take on a completly different feel this upcoming season with Amanda Tapping joining to lead the expedition!!
