I'd like to say that I could have learned to do something useful, like program on a basic level or knit blankets, but I've gotten some worthwhile dreams thanks to that game. I actually owe the ability to shapeshift while dreaming all to WoW, as it happened one night in a non lucid to get me started. /dance.

64 Warlock.
64 Warlock #2.
70 Rogue.
80 Paladin.

Then I quit. :c

Still playing a bit on and off... not much though, since I'm very bad at sticking to one character at high-end Right now I have:

80 DK (Full T7 geared for those who understand that), then I quit as they are just awfully boring to play in raids
72 Tauren druid
71 Undead Rogue
70 blood elf hunter
71 Gnome Mage

80 Undead Rogue

Naxx 10 gear with like 5 or 6 pieces of 25 man gear, nothing special.

I play Warhammer now. I have a 28 Zealot, with 27 renown.

I have a ton of characters but my highest is a Human Rogue lvl 65 I think.

I like Everquest 2 best though- it seems to draw a more "mature" crowd and I like the game play better (though I prefer the "seamless" world of WoW).

I waste way too much time on those games though, so I've quit them for now and maybe for good.

I play DOMO every now and then. It's a nice game with a similar concept and it's free
I like Runescape too, but only as a paid member and I can't justify spending money on it and haven't played in months.

I haven't played in a month though, I took a break to get my life back on track because I played too much, now it seems to have gotten worse. Oh the irony.

I just try to stay away form endgame guilds. That way I don't have to make commitments for a game. I got my own guild and I do my own thing with my buddies who have rolled on the same server. We have good times

Besides that most of the endgame guilds is riddled with jerks, elitists and overall a general bunch of freaking whiners I have quit the game now, but boy oh boy, the times I spend on some of the top endgame guilds were horrible. One of my mates still play and raids everyday in a really serious endgame guild (I think 3 or 2 best on the server), and when he's on skype with me while chatting to the guild during raids... I mean rofl.. there's always whining going on and if someone makes just the slighest mistake EVERYONE freaks out. It's so terrible

Yeah, it's amazing how dramatic guild relations can get. Nerd rage to the extreme, super epeens. I was in endgame raidguilds pre-TBC and I haven't been apart of once since. Not really missing too much anyway.

I play on a Blizzard like private server a few hours a week. Does anyone use private servers?

Eh, I like Diablo better.

I've got a lvl 70 mage on Frostwhipser (EU).
I originally played not too long after it came out, lvled my mage to 60 and played some on alts. Then I quit. When BC came out I bought that and lvled to 70. Soon after I quit.
Then I bought WotLK, almost lvled my mage to 71, played some on alts, lvling a DK to 59 and a paladin to 30-something. Then I quit again.

I don't know why people find WoW so addicting...
I played the 14 day free trial, and it's a pretty good MMO I must say, but there are better MMOs. And I found Warcraft III more fun actually. Also, IMHO Diablo II ownz WoW by all means.
Had a 89 Necromancer there on closed bnet xD
I also played Maple Story. It is a pretty bad MMORPG, but it's charming in a way
And somehow I have an affection towards 2d sidescrollers
Anyways, I managed to make a lv60 Ice mage in a few months, but then it became too boring, and I quit.

I think you're thinking of D3, not 2.
