So, essentially, since I was about ten, I've been reading and re-reading some of the work or Clive Barker. I've always been infatuated with his work..It's so weird...The characters are awesome, being mostly just disgustingly and morbidly compelling. I mean, even the children's book, "The Thief of Always" is eerily beautiful. The book, "The Damnation Game" is the only book that has ever made me physically ill enough to throw up. The fact that books can alter one's physical and emotional state, as his books have mine, is truly amazing. Does anyone else enjoy the work of Clive Barker? |
