      Movies about dreaming

I was wondering if anyone has seen this movie, i was thinking of ordering it :-

Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (1992)

Does anyone know of any films (besides the mainstream) that deal with 'dreams'.

Kinda mainstream...but check out Mulholland Drive anyways. It's pretty cool. David Lynch is nuts.

I made a post a few months back about Lynch in relation to the "Ducks Eye" theory he uses in his movies.

      http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic....id+lynch#147242

He was the first director that really got me interested in cinema. I was about 14 and the first film i saw that blew my mind was Eraserhead. I didnt understand it at first, thought it was alittle nuts. But watching other movies like Wild at Heart and Blue Velvet really opened me up to his films. I watched Eraserhead again and loved it. His moves are Pure Genius, i know nobody is a fan of Dune, but i think its a kick ass movie (i havent read the book yet). i found a cool quote on Lynch if you are interested.

\"In my dream, I see these fantastic paintings that were done by somebody else. And I wish that I had painted them. And I wake up, and after a while the impression wears off. I say, wait a minute, those are my paintings. I dreamt them; they're mine. Then I can't remember what they were.\" [/b]
      Mulholland Drive is amazing.

I remember that being a pretty cool NES game when I was growing up.

The Gift is related to psychic dreams and visions. I have seen it twice.

Vanilla sky is in deed fantastic. I had to rewatch it yesterday

Fantastic sound track aswell, sigur ros and radiohead...

There was a cartoon on childrens TV I watched many, many years ago, I used to love it, can't remember the name, but this group of kids, when they fell asleep everynight, they'd all travel to this dream land where they'd help out the inhabitants there on super dooper adventures.

Was very good, although they never got anywhere near the phycological side of lucid dreaming.

      Right. Dreamscape is great.
I also recommend Brainstorm with Christopher Walken. This one also makes you think about your brain and your dream life long after you watched the movie, which is the intent ...

THE MACHINEST. I just made a comment about it in the last movie you saw post. This movie was excellent! Deals a whole lot with dreaming, and is just a great film. Interesting concepts, plus Christian Bale in the hip new holocaust victim look. joking. but he's disgustingly skinny, and he hasn't slept for a year, i don't think i ever even saw food in this movie, it's completely food-free.

I have seen a lot of movies lately, where as some of them was somehow related to dreams. Here is the dream related ones:

      - Identity (2003)

      - Cypher (2002)

      - Alien Intruder (1993)

      - Requiem for a Dream (2000)

Alien Intruder is the best of them. It's technicly like a shared dream.
