I saw it about an hour ago. It looks incredible. Not to mention darker, but the billboards hint that the humor will still remain. |

Did anyone else see the GTA IV trailer that just came out a few hours ago? It looks pretty sweet, the graphics have changed quite a bit. The link below is the video. Looks to be set in someplace such as New York, seemingly around the 90's/2000's (my guess is the 2000's), and the main character is a Russian I believe. |

I love rockstar, they really care about their titles. I have never seen a rockstar game that I've been disappointed with. It looks like they're setting up to smash it out of the park. |

GTA has gone down hill lately, it seems to have lived out its life and went as far as it could go with SA. Although the graphics seem great. Still i'd probably buy it. |

The planet Earth exhibits all of these properties and therefore can be considered alive and its own single organism by the scientific definition.does the planet Earth reproduce, well no unless you count the moon.7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms.

It's for PS3/Xbox 360, and I believe the PC, but I'm not too sure. |
|
I already have a 360, and I can't even imagine how awesome this is going to be. The weak point of SA was it's graphics, technically - this looks like a photo-realistic New York City. I heard a rumor that all of New England was going to be represented, but that sounds excessive. A lot. Me, I think we're going to get New York City. ALL of it. |

I agree. But, there may be such a thing as too expansive..... Has anyone else here ever played The Getaway? Well, if you're like me, then the map in that game was a bitch. It was way too big for me, it took about 30 minutes to drive from one spot to another for a single mission.... I don't know, maybe as long as they make it interesting it should be good, since The Getaway's map didn't really have anything interesting to look for/interact with.... |
|
yeah I saw it. Looks cool. Finally a little less buildings that aren't square blocks. |

Yeah, I know, sweet isn't it? Lol. What I like about this one so far is that the city actually looks like a real busy city. The cities in San Andreas just didn't look all that...city-ish, I guess. |

Wow. |

I agree with that, but i think rockstar does a good job in keeping the map large, but making it so you dont have to trek across the whole map every mission. In san andreas they had you stay on one side of the map and you can just stay there and finish mission there before you have to travel all the way to the other side. By keeping the long distance travel at a minimum, driving across the map is kinda fun and you get a "road trip" type feel. maybe its just me. Anyway, i think rockstar will do a phenomenal job in making this game and figure out some way keep it fresh |

It is San Fransisco, right? Why not a GTA: Boston, the ultimate weapons would be a board with flashing lights on them. |

It couldn't be San Francisco, right? San Francisco was already in San Andreas, it was called San Fierro. It's odd, because if you take notice of the ferry terminal, it says "Liberty Ferry Terminal", though some of the letters from "Liberty" are missing, it's pretty obvious that's what it says, also there's a boat to the right of the screen with "Liberty" written on it. They wouldn't do Liberty City again, would they? Perhaps some place close to it, or perhaps a combination of all the cities from the previous games combined...? |
|
Okay, really stupid of me, San fransisco was in andreas, I forgot, lol. |

The city is based on New York, so yeah, Liberty City. |
|
I have seen it, but I don't think I will buy the game, as I'm unsure whether my graphic card is sufficient, and I don't feel like spending 40-50$ on it. |
|
I don't see how you could say that. I mean if you think about GTA III's LC it was a silly cartoonish joke of a city. It just looked nothing like NY. But GTA IV's LC actually looks like a real city. I don't expect it to be anything like GTA III's setting. I don't even see it as the same liberty city as we've seen in the past. |
