Best Minesweeper Times?

That damn minesweeper game on my PC has been my ruin for grades in school : ) If i'm sitting down doing homework I will work for about 10 minutes, and then I hear minesweeper calling me to play it. Of course, I do and this will continue for several hours haha. I'm just curious on everbyody's best times. Here are mine: Beginner: 8 seconds Intermediate: 46 seconds Expert: 146 seconds I figured I would be better w/ playing it so much but oh well

I recall how I once started it up a long time ago, in the default beginner mode and what not, then left-clicked randomly on it, moved the mouse in a casual wave and let go...and it solved itself. No options altered, just the default mode. In one second. I was in awe. >.<

Yeah, I had beginner mode done in two seconds once. There's no skill there, you just have to get really lucky with the mines.

that game is so darn addictive. Still have not been able to complete the expert mode yet....I got so close, I was down to the last two squares and I had to guess!

Ive had beginner done in 6 seconds and expert in 240 Intermediate was 90 something Its an aoblsutely amazing game, i just ahte it when you spend ages and then you fall into a position where there is no possible way of working out it out. You guess. You die. lol Not quite as good as space invaders pah, wash your mouth out with soap

Beginner: 5 seconds Intermediate: 45 seconds... I haven't even beaten the hardest one...I rarely play that one.

I think i know how to play... You just don't uncover any mines, right? No, the numbers tell you how many mines are near it, you left click where you think the mine is, which makes a red flag. It tells you how many mines there are. Yeah. And, yeah, there is this technique, where, in one click, if you click on a 'secret' place, you win the whole game in 1 second. My ex-bf was telling me about it. He did the expert in 1 second.

You start by clicking on a grey square in the box. If the number is a 1, then there is only 1 mine in the 8 surrounding boxes, leaving you free to click the other 7. but to find that out, you need to click a one somewhere else and see what that number is. If you find a square which you believe to be a mine, Right click it, and it should turn into a red flag. Leave this till the end and till you have found all the mines and clicked all the safe squares And there is a cheat, but won't say it because of people cheating on their times
