You aren't seriously admiring what those people are doing? It shows how little respect some Americans have for other cultures and other people, it makes me sick. |

“What a peculiar privilege has this little agitation of the brain which we call 'thought'” -Hume
Yea that's pretty embarrassing. We're making a lot of friends over there. |
Looks like how I drive in GTA. No, that is not a good thing. |
...wow... could they like.... avoid busy roads? Seriously... |
Apparently they have to drive this way to avoid insurgent attacks on their vehicles. |
Are you guys that stupid!? Apparently Theres something going on! Did you hear the marine at the end!? Those Iraqi's are F-ing stupid to not get out of the way of a 5,200 lb Humvee with a mounted machine-gun! The driver |
The only thing I heard the marine say was 'look at that guy pickin' his nose, fuckin' idiot *blah blah*'. The police don't ram civilians off the road when they're on the way to something big, no matter what it is, so why should some bolshy foreign troops have the right to? It was pretty much jammed all the way down; its not like anyone could move outta the way. Also, I think we object to being called 'stupid', thankyou very much. |

not all of you are stupid, sorry for saying that i just get really upset when ignorant people are talking. |
Making bad ties with the Iraqis will make the war never end. This is the sort of behavior that makes more terrorists. |
How bout you go hug an Iraqi and see where his knife ends up. |
Ha. If you see a retard running with an armed weapon what would you do? |
I think this is exactly what they have to do in crowded situations. You have to understand that those guys are targeted on a constant basis. and yes they are bumping people to get them out of their way but this is probably so that they don't get hit by any R.P.G.'s. In regards to the remark about the guy picking his nose without a care in the world. Now we know this is everyday stuff in the U.S. You're driving rushing to get somewhere and pedestrians are j-walking the streets and crossing on Red lights without a single care in the world as if they have bumpers or something. I think maybe it was a possible emergency where they had to get somewhere fast and people do need to get out of their way, because it's still an emergency vehicle just like a Police Car, Fire Engine, Ambulance or whatever. |
I agree with Ne-yo. |
That's pretty much the bottom line, right there. |

Oneironaut, take a look at that video again. If you notice they were only bumping cars that would not get out of their way. Look at the right side of the screen when they approach a car. The curb is clear, those cars can move over to the right side but for some reason they don't. Now I've been living in the U.S. for well over 25 years myself and everytime I see an Emergency Vehicle coming up from behind I get my Ass over to the side to let them pass. Why are they not moving over? Take notice of the Bus. Did you see how the humvee went on the left side of the curb and stuck the front end of the Humvee there so that the driver could see him in that left rearview mirror? When the bus didn't move over even after he saw him then of course he bumped him. |
But this is Iraq, in rushhour, with loads of people blowing their horns. In that area of the world, from what I've seen of their traffic, it's a lot more common to just hammer your horn in traffic, so most people probably wouldnt even check their mirror if someone was hammering their horn. Like Oneironaut said, you'd never see any other emergency vehicles ramming civilians off the road, no matter how many lives were in danger at the expense. Talk about making enemies! No wonder so many people join insurgents if they get treated like that! |

You know there's a huge difference between ramming someone and nudging them aside. I think it's pretty obvious they are not trying to hurt people. You guys are making it seem like they are over there without a single care for the iraqie people. Keep in mind they are the occuppying force there, so they are the Police the Fire department and the medics all wrapped up in one, And the horn you heard blowing wasn't from traffice that was the Marine blowing the horn in that Humvee. |
Yeah, man. I was hammered when I came home, last night. Lol. I've seen it again, and it's not that bad. I didn't mean to imply that they were really forcing the people off the road. Just a bad choice of terminology, I guess. |

What, so it's different when the drivers are on the line? The police/ambulances/fire trucks are just as crucial to people's lives. If they were in so much of a hurry, I doubt they'd be making smart-ass remarks about guys they drove past, or videoing it at all. Evidential videotapes have a timestamp etc. if they're official. Are you seriously telling me that if Iraq had invaded America/wherever you live, you wouldn't mind them driving around, damaging your car, just to shunt you outta the way? I get why they did it, but I don't think it's the right thing to do. |
