We have a diverse community. How diverse is it in terms of music? Post some of your favourite songs, bands, genres, or even specific lyrics.
My post is gonna be long, yours doesnt have to be
I like many different types of music, huge variety leading from Dance to Hip Hop, from Classical to Rock.
Fort Minor is one of my favourite bands. Im not much a fan of Rap, but they have some good stuff in there. Amazing stuff actually. A lot of it is Hip Hop, which Im also not a fan of. But they're great. Really creative bunch of guys. Esspecially Mike Shinoda. I was dissapointed to hear when he left Linkin Park temporarily, as they are also on the top of my list. But once I heard he started Fort Minor, I couldnt help but listen.
Linkin Park is another very good one. Whats amazing is that they are one of the few modern bands who does not have to resort to swearing to get their messege across, and the messege is still very clear. They have some great music and its very easy to get into.
Breaking Benjamin is another good one. I first heard him on the Halo 2 soundtrack, and had to check out his other music. He has done very well on his most recent CD, Phobia. Though it seems to have taken a softer tone, its up there with my favourites from him.
Billy Talent's name suits him. Though some of his songs are repetitive, they are very addicting, and his music is quite the draw in.
Lemon Demon is another example of my diversity in music. A comedy oriented band, they have done such great music entertainment that has made its way to many flash videos, made by "Too Much Spare Time Animations" that can be found on Newgrounds.
My all time favourite band however has to be Avenged Sevenfold. I just cannot get enough of these guys music. Esspecially their most recent CD, City of Evil. They're music is just so amazing, and most songs extend for more than 5 minutes, which clearly shows they have a lot of talent to put into one song.
