I like a lot of the fight scenes in "Hero." I especially liked the fight near the beginning when it was Jet Li vs the guy with the staff type thing and they were fighting in the "Chess house" in the rain.

I'm adding 2 comedy fights to the list:

Shaun of the dead - Don't stop me now! :p

Hot Fuzz when he kicks the granny in the face onwards to the whole village being taken down.

I agree with Vash vs. Knives from Trigun.

All of the fight scenes in Noir are amazing, but I can't think of a specific one to go with...

Gatsu vs Griffith from Berserk also ranks highly, imo. Not a lot of flashy action, but the fight really shows the personality of both characters.

Dayumn. One of the only Jackie Chan fights that I've never seen...and it was definitely one of the best.

      What movie was this from?

That's great... I loved the scenes at 1:55 and 3:00 in.

And how Jackie looks emotionally hurt when he gets hit in the face.

In the movie Wheels on Meals, Jackie Chan and 6 time kickboxing world champion Benny "The Jet" Urquidez squared off in one of the most legendary fights ever created.

I did not see your thread lol

Old Boy, if I'm not mistaken. I still haven't seen the whole movie, but someone (it might have been Xagaria) posted it on the other thread, too. That's a badass scene.

      Best Fight

Okay. So what's the best fight you've ever seen/heard about IRL?

Here I go. It's a tie, so I'll tell both stories.

When my father was seventeen, he was at his friend Joe's house with his friends Wayne and Steve. There was a knock on the door, so Joe answered it. It was his neighbor, Beth. She was crying. She told Joe that her husband Arnie hit her. He brought her into the back room of his two room apartment. My dad, Wayne and Steve sat in the front room to give them some privacy. A bit later, there was another knock on the door. Joe answered it. It was Arnie, Beth's husband, and he was pissed. He asked for Beth. Joe explained the situation and told Arnie that Beth didn't want to see him right--

Arnie punched Joe in the face. Joe fell over. Now, Arnie stormed around the privacy wall in front of the front door into the front room. My dad, Wayne and Steve were on the far side of a large table. My father says the next thing he remembers is that he was on the other side of the table with his hands around Arnie's neck. Steve and Wayne both admit that they aren't sure how my dad got to the other side of the table so fast. My dad picked Arnie up with one arm (by his throat), and tipped Arnie's legs out from under him (Arnie) and slammed him into the ground and jumped on him and continued to strangle him, yelling incoherently to the tune of "you will never hit a woman again"

He continued this until the cops came. The officer walked in, put his hands on my dad's back and said "It's okay, son. We're here now." My dad let go, got up, and the police left without any trouble, because he called it a domestic dispute. Arnie told my dad that he was getting his gun and that he was going to shoot my dad once he left the building. When my dad left, he went to Arnie's house (presumably across from the apartment building, idk), stood in front of his window, and taunted him. When Arnie didn't come to the window, he left.

And the second one, which I saw.

This punk and his buddies were insulting a kid in the hall. The kid turned around and walked over to the punk. As the kid got closer, the punk swung for his face. The kid, in one motion, ducked it, threw the punch off to the side, grabbed the punk by his head and smashed it through a window. Through. Not into, through. The punk was in a fair bit of pain, and I imagine his head hurt for a bit, but he wasn't even cut. The end. Your turn.

I went through the entire thread to make sure the fight scene in They Live was posted...and it is.

And of course Curse of the Golden Flower and Hero are also mentioned, both epic.

Personally, in Bleach, I preferred Ichigo vs Grimmjow or Ulquiorra

I always liked the Peter Jackson movie Dead Alive, particularly this scene (a must-watch scene, slightly graphic):

Of course any scene in Kung Pow:Enter The Fist will also do.

As a parent I'm particularly fond of this:

Lord of the Rings had some amazing scenes...but no need to post any right now.

Still, as a kid, this one always had us talking (from Indiana Jones):

      1. Mugen's final battle in Samurai Champloo (sword vs kusara-kama)

The video appears weird because the episode mixed in Jin's final battle (which was also epic but if I show both I may as well post the whole episode)

      2. Sword of the Stranger final battle

      3. Serei no Moribito flashback scene

      I'll post more later

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
