Man this show is my new t.v. addiction. i spent most of the weekend watching hte latest DVD's. NEVER have i seena show mix a good storyline with drama, sex, and just plain freaky scenarios. the show is also very metophorical to what's going on in todays world.

      anoyone else into this show?

I love it. I was a huge B5 fan. I think this is 10X better. They have the old BSG reruns here. Boy, these do suck. Can't believe I liked those as a kid. I’m glad they don’t use terms like centons or whatever for time and speed and distance like the old show. Boy that old show sucked.

One annoying thing is the unstable camera shots while in space. Excessive zooms when a wide shot should be used kinda hinders on the epic battles.

You're preaching to the converted. I'm already a massive BSG fan, but I must admit, after the end of the second season, I'm a bit worried about where the show is going... I didn't like the second season as much as the first.

Oh... personally, I liked the ShakyCam in the space battles, that was a favourite part of the show for me. But it seems they've downplayed that in the latest season.

Im not much of a BattleStar fan, but I watch it occasionaly if I happen to catch it on, but i won't lose sleep over it if i miss an episode (missed half a season already, and then some).

The first season was more space epic. I think the close ups was a means to keep the FX cheap. The second is more like religious (if I can say that). Season 3 has not started on Space, where I am.

Just bought Season 1 & 2. Loved the miniseries, and since everyone keep praising the series i bought em, just like i did with Firefly and Veronica Mars, which im very glad i did.
