What does the forum think about Eragon? Alot of people say it's bad... I've never read any Tolkien, this was my first exposure to hard fantasy (Besides Alice in Wonderland, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, etc.) and I like it. From what I've heard about Tolkiens works are that they are not very fast paced, and describe everything, so I don't know if I'd like it. I DID however, read Loyd Alexanders series, it was great! So I'll give Tolkien a chance....
