It sounds pretty cool, maybe I'll con some little kids into watching it and scare them to death

Will the story line follow the idea that she was mentally ill then, and she is (and was the first time round) imagining the whole adventure, but now she's all depressed mourning her parents death, so it'll be sick because he mind is desturbed??

You know, I was thinking the same thing, at first, but I just dunno. I remember her being pretty good in Cruel Intentions. But then, that might just be because it's been years since I've seen that movie. Heh. Well, who knows? If people can get passed seeing her as that ditzy, pop-culture/valley-girl icon, Buffy, she might be able to pull it off.

I'll join you. Arrrrggghhhhhh!!!!!!!& #33;! I almost peed myself when I saw the title of the thread and then I saw Sarah Michelle Gellar. Bad, bad, bad casting. I guarantee a million other more talented, less annoying actresses would have wanted the role, WHY did she get picked? That's so frustrating. Oh well, at least it's not Julia Stiles. I would have cried if they chose her. It sucks when you wait for movies like this and then have it ruined by the casting.

hrmmm yeah, Sarah Michelle Gellar...with the right director, could be interesting

but I'm thinking it will be crap, and I can't imagine Gellar with even the slightest passable English accent

I do agree, I imagine it'd be better with an obscure actress. Rather than Gellar. But then again...
She could pull it off, I'm being optimistic and hoping she can avoid her steriotyped character. Will be irritating if she doesn't pull off an English accent, but I guess it'd be acceptable if she stuck with her American one. Better that than a really bad English one, in my opinion.

But still, why not an English actress? Rather than a Blockbusting famous one? Bleah

Yeah, but buffy was a US teen who kicked vampire ass. How is she going to do as a mourning English mental person all desturbed and creepy in an actual horror movie.

Unfortunately, I don't hold out much faith for this movie. The director doesn't have a great track record, most of his experience lies in made-for-tv movies and music videos.

It's a real pity, because, the IDEA - a psychotic, dark and twisted take on Alice in Wland is a fantastic premise. I have yet to play the game, though...
